Thanks to Jure for pointing out that the next two Paysage d'Hiver digipak releases are out on Kunsthall. This time it's Kerker and Kristall & Isa. Available from Blackscaped and Grau, and probably other distros.

Paysage D'Hiver, Black Metal, Rerelease, New Release

Already a couple of months out, let's blame the summer daze for the slack in update on Paysage D'Hiver. Anyway, the third in the series of demo rereleases from Switzerland's best is out on Aurora Borealis.

I also forgot to mention the limited (300 copies) tape of new material that was released in late April, another fine ambient tape/album called Einsamkeit. Long gone now I'm afraid, but I am sure Google can help in tracking down a digital version.

More reissues on the way as well, here is the release schedule for 2007 and 2008, as stated by Kunsthall:

Paysage D'Hiver - Die Festung CD

Paysage D'Hiver, Vinyl, Reissue

The second in the series of Paysage D'Hiver A5 CD reissues, "Die Festung" is finally available from Aurora Infernalis. Next planned release is the self titled album, expected to be out June 4th 2007.

A double LP version of "Paysage D'Hiver" is planned to be released in the spring on Miriquidi. Should be right about now then, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Darkspace - new album

Black Metal, Darkspace, Paysage D'Hiver

Reinier from Aurora Infernalis emailed me with a short update to let us know that Darkspace are working on their next album (presumably titled "Dark Space III").

About Darkspace, they made the rough skeleton of the album.. 7 tracks... like DS1 thusfar.

Also, Reinier told me that the Paysage d'Hiver S/T A5 digipak CD will be out around February. Check out the full planned release schedule at the AI web site, Darkspace shirts seem to be on the way, as well as Paysage d'Hiver's Die Festung CD in January.

Paysage D'Hiver - Die Festung LP Box

According to an email from Mirquidi Productions, the Paysage D'Hiver LP box for "Die Festung" is now available for order. Their web site is still not updated with this info, though. According to a post on http://www.metal-archives.com/, Mirquidi is going to re-release most of the old demos on LP Format, but I do not know whether this box contains just the "Die Festung" demo or if several demos are collected in this one box. The old info from the Mirquidi website says:

Paysage D´Hiver " Die Festung" Lp Box coming finaly out in september. Limited to 300 copies only packed in a hard paper box and closed with a wax seal! Absolutly not for trades.
