Better buy the rechargables batteries in Kroger from energizer at 14.99 bucks. They saved me the day when taking photos. I would have used like 4 batteries of the normal (duracell or nergizer). Like my father says "the cheap sometimes is expensive"

I get the picture and I TOTALLY agree with using rechargeables instead of disposable ones, but the picture is NOT entirely accurate (as most environmental propaganda usually is). Again, I DO believe rechargeable batteries save you money and help the environment... OK, now for the unaccuracies. 72 batteries DON'T equal 4 rechargeables; they'd be many more (point for the recheargeables!). OK, you'll say that you made that comparison for the price... (72 disposables = 22 bucks = rechargeable pack) OK, but still you missed a point; rechargeables cost more than the package price since you spend money in the electric bill for every charge you take (after all, the charge for the batteries has to come from somewhere). Also, disposables are always charged; rechargeables are not (and lose charge in time even if not used). (Point for disposables) This last point is what has mostly kept disposables still ahead in the race; most people would rather have 72 batteries lying around and ready for when you need them, than having to wait several hours (or a even a couple if you have a fast charger) to have a fully charged set of batteries. Nice topic for debate... hehehe
