Two little bits of news for you:

Firstly, Gamespot have announced that a version of Spore will be headed to the DS. This long-awaited title for the PC is the latest creation of SimCity creator, Will Wright.

[With] Spore, we will be not only focusing on the PC and online; we are launching this innovative experience on the NDS.


The game sees you creating and evolving new life, and it's great that a DS port is being made. It was also announced in the same story that the new Wii version of the Sims is now called My Sims and will also appear on the DS.

The second bit of news is that Super Swing Golf will be released in Europe (yes), and will now be known as Pangya! Golf with Style. The game will also now be published by Nintendo. No definite release date has been announced.

ive been reading that EA wants "to be nintendo's number 2" and that they are going to be "attacking Wii and DS this year"

Matt writes: A spore for the Wii seems like a better idea. The wiimote handles 3D space manipulation much better, and Connect24 seems to be a better online service

Marc writes: Spore seems more like a pc game, but who am I to argue with Will Wright and the rest of the sims team? I've been waiting for at least two years for spore, and not even a demo for the creature editor has been released yet. a definite release date would give me something to look forward to.
