Submit Wii Browser Feedback

, , , , ,

If you've experienced any issues with the Wii browser tell Opera!

Our handsome friends at Opera are working around the clock to get the final version prepared for it's projected end of March release but are still looking for that all important feedback from actual Wii browsers, like you.

To help them out, submit a simple snippet of feedback at the Wii Browser Portal page (use your Wii to prove you're using the browser!). It's easy to do, will help with the final product, and lets you brag to your friends about being part of the R&D team at Opera.

Wiidark... THANK YOU! this is a really important post and I hope that many others give any feedback they can there. It really is "we are listening to YOU" time for Opera + Nintendo. Tell them what you would like to see fixed/added/ditched!

I have to wonder how many of the feature requests will reach the people in charge - Nintendo. I've only ever seen one bug, but I've already posted it in the feedback thread in the Opera for devices/Wii forum.

I really doubt I'll be paying for it if Nintendo doesn't pony-up to secure a QuickTime framework from Apple. While a necessity, Flash just doesn't cut it where rich web content in a multitude of encoding schemes is concerned. Something tells me it ain't gonna happen...

*crosses fingers*

I say mention that one more time from the Wii, couldn't hurt, and maybee someone new sees your request along the way.

you can also leave feedback here http://my.opera.com/community/forums/forum.dml?id=2081

but i think they are trying to get feedback from proven users, rather than have people waste their time with false claims or those who do not have Wii at all.

Wii90 Thursday, February 22, 2007 10:49:21 PM

being able to manage windows would be good

I just got my wii online and so far i think the opera browser is good. However it could be so much better! Such as
1 a variable zoom
2 a toolbar
3 being able 2 view more than one page at a time
4 i think the should put in all the features you would find on explorer
5 fix the flash problem
6 compatibility to all major apps

.edDotEd Friday, March 2, 2007 1:23:17 PM

.. did you submit these ideas?

Dear Admin/Moderators,

Sub : I have Experienced The probleum about saving the Jpegs/Images files from our opera browser to my computer...

In My Experience the " Opera " - Web Browser is one & only the Quitest,Fantastic,Easiest,Fastest and Greatest Web Browser of the Web World... No one is better than Opera..!!

But, I'm sorry to say this,I need the solition from U'r side that's why I'm telling this..
After U'r opera7.5 web browser, U never correct this probleum of U'r New versions of ( opera8.0,opera8.5,...& till opera 9.5 )

The probleum is [ before ( in/from opera7.5 ) ] if we are saving the Jpegs/Images files from web page ( what we opened in our opera web browser windows ) to our pc's on our wishing to save the particular folders..

The normal procedure is we just putting the cursor on that Images and right click the cursor to save that images to we specified the folder.. It will take a one/two seconds to save that image file to the folder.. If we wish to save that image for many times giving the rename, for that also taking the same time in/from our older versions of web browser..

After opera 7.5 ,From Other versions are taking too much of time to save for image files ( After given the save as command, the file is going to the transfer windows, and Again it's redownloading & then it's saving where we specified the folder.. It's Doing the procedure/type of while we saves the other files of Video files, software files like that.)

So we are getting the too much of pain & waste of time to saving the files... Please try to check the trail between 7.5version & other versions of our latest.. U will find what's the probleum I Specified Like..

Please solve this probleum & modified our New version of our Opera 9.5 and leave it Back of Modified version to our Opera Home page for us to Download...

Please,If anything wrong in my suggestion, forgive me!!

Please Solve that probleum So Soon!! Waiting for modified version to download.. Please Help us...!!!

Thank U!

@rajaoperacf: you are aware that this is about the Wii browser, and not the desktop version, right?
