Super Mario Galaxy Update

As anticipation for Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii increases, Nintendo have opened up a page on their Wii website, dedicated to the game. The page can be found here, and has a few details about the game. No release date as yet, but there is one interesting tidbit: it looks like the game will accommodate 2 players!

There better be a mode where you can be Luigi. He never gets 3D love.

man, how excellent would that be...
however, after playing it at E3, i can't see how the game would work with 2 players at all.... the camera follows mario, and with the levels being spherical, there is almost no way it could work.... .... unless one player plays as the cursor and the other plays as mario... tha tis my guess.. for the record.

because it was hard to control both at the same time. very hard.
