Not That Type of Romance

But worthy of my tactical love none the less.

NEW + Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire[/IMG]

The solitary hot new jam for the North American Virtual Console today floods your SNES with 1-8 player tactical data crunching numbersplosions. And no, you don't have to have played 1-3 to enjoy 4. It's like a history tale, you don't need to know all history to enjoy some of it. Hooray for the re-unification of China!

Fun Fact: This game was also available for the 32x, PC, and Playstation.

if you have years of free time, its excellent.

in all honesty, this game is a great download for people already interested in Chinese history. But if you have doubts that alone could keep you playing, you may not be able to appreciate the solid game masked underneath.

that's not to say that the game will bore you to death, but just keep in mind that youll need to read up on the instructions, and know that the game is deep and can be really rewarding.

this series has spawned more sequels than Final Fantasy (not including spinoffs of FF) and touched nearly every game system over the last 15 years with few exceptions.

lots of history, some very relaxed gameplay, and if you can get into it, a game definately worth bragging about to your friends, you'll never run out of things to say about it.
