2-NiGHTS News

I am sure you all have read my last post about Segas' recently confirmed Wii game, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. And you are all aware that the game was tailor made for the Wii years before the Wii was even thought up right? good! Now onto a bit more of the goodstuff regarding this explosive title:

  • Forecast Channel: NiGHTS' in game scenery and weather will change depending on your real life regional season and/or weather.
  • Three 'Persona' masks: Collectibles enabling NiGHTS to morph. The Dragon mask turns NiGHTS into dragon, making him resistant to wind. The Dolphin mask lets him swim, and the Rocket mask lets him move really fast.
  • Connect24: NiGHTS will also let you trade some sort of items with friends.

Is anyone else pumped about this game? Am I the only one here who has played the original?

Drool... Just managed to get a look at the teaser trailer. Beautiful.

It says Xbox 360 at the end for some reason. Anyone know if it's multi format or has been moved?

I haven't played the original though. Never owned a Saturn - only MasterSystem II

Furie: WHERE!? tell me where this trailer is!!!! I can't find it on IGN or Gametrailers.com. I Found one on you tube, but thats a fake, hes got the old outfit on, and his coloring and patterns are a bit off. It was nicely done though.

I owned a Saturn and NiGHTS (bought them simultaneously in one of Sega's specialized packs), but wasn't a big fan of the game... but this looks fun. :D

I downloaded it to my phone via Tiny Tube. The original video is from MySpace somewhere. It may be the fake you found though.

It's got him flying over water trailing a hand through it. And he circles a rock outcrop, making it explode to the original music as a sound effect.

Furie: thank goodness, yeah thats a fake, hes even got the wrong costume on. So far the interviews have said that it is exlusive.

Real local weather, cool. I thought I would see that on Havest moon... Oh well. I think I'll give this a play. My Bro is addicted to Chibi-Robo, how pathetic... LOL the addicted part that is.
