Wii Love Wi-Fi

I've just finished a session of online gaming Mario Strikers Charged Football for the Wii, and it was excellent. The game itself is pretty good (I'll be doing a review shortly), but I thought I'd share my initial impressions of the Wi-Fi. For those with a DS, they'll be pretty familiar with the process. You select Wi-Fi gaming, and are logged onto the server. You get given a friend code to exchange with your friends, but can play games with strangers in order to get a higher rank.
You can play on your own, or with a friend, which is a great option, an you get points for winning, scoring goals, and even losing. I so far have 13 points, but was amazed to see someone with nearly 1000 points. Consider the game isn't even released until tomorrow, that's quite a feat!
There was a bit of lag, however, but it wasn't that noticeable. I'm sure there will be some teething problems to begin with, and I'm sure there will be a higher volume of people logging on when the game gets released.
I had a great few games, and although I haven't played much of the main game (I jumped straight to the Wi-Fi) it's easy to pick up and play. The future of Online gaming on the Wii looks bright.
If anyone else has, or is planning on getting the game, there is a thread in our forums for exchanging codes here.

If it hasn't been released, then I don't think you'll be able to challenge ramdom people via WiFi.
The manual states that if you have exchanged Friend Codes with someone from another content, you should be able to play against them, but Nintendo don't recommend it as the game will be "virtually unplayable" due to the lag.
