Artwork That's Out Of This World!

While he eagerly awaits the release of Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii (and he's not the only one), N+ member Lutherjw has been busy creating what he thinks the boxart may look like.

The above shot is one of seven, and the others can be found in his dedicated album. They look superb, and I don't think that they'll be far off the actual box - they're so good that they might just as well be the actual box. I particularly like the use of the bubbles on the back.

Anyone have ideas for my next project? Metroid? No More Heroes? Disaster: Day of Crisis? Brawl?

I'm leaning towards Corruption...

On the real thing, I think they'd put the title somewhere nearer the middle.

I think some sites have mocked up versions of the Super Mario Galaxy box art themselves. But they don't even get close to this. That's one really impressive display of graphical design. :D

I guess the next logical step would be Metroid. I would sure love to see you make it.

Cool, cool. The front should have a little more going on. You know, more objects to look at. Then again, it can't be TOO busy and cluttered. Very nice job either way.
Next up should be Metroid or Brawl.

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought about adding some more stuff to the front, but I was having major trouble finding any high-res screenshots to add.

And again, sorry for the blurriness. :frown: I think I'm going to do Metroid next .... hope there are lots of good quality screenshots for that one. :D

also luther, you should add these to the member art page, don't forget to add your name into the image somehow, these are so good, you don't want people claiming them as theirs, that and if someone uses it in their site, your name is there!
