It looks like Rockstar have caved in to the BBFC and ESRB's requests, and have made considerable edits to Manhunt 2. It is hoped that the game will now be able to obtain a rating that allows its sale in all countries.

Too bad the screenies look so fake (and were announced as fake, of course). Could have made a good rumour out of this.

most likely it won't get the great reviews the uncut version got. one magazine review said it was amazing, and gave the original game about 84%. now it's been toned down at a huge cost, will it still be that good? i thinks the money spent on modding it could've been spent better! like hire a good legal team to appeal the censors decision.
