Besides the algabraic release date, we got some totally rhombus updates reguarding what's actually IN the game, "Read More" to see...

Items
Assist Trophy : Dr Wright

Dr Wright comes from the SNES version of Sim City. Will Wright should feel very happy seeing one of his creations in Smash Bros, I know I would! Anyway Dr Wright is NOT playable, he is one of the characters that pops out of the assist trophies to help out the... trainer? who released it. Basically he decides that the ground you are standing on is in desperate need of high density residential. He happens to be correct, because as soon as he zones the plot of land buildings erupt from the ground causing the players above it to go flying. I wonder how long these building last, do they get abandoned? do you have to destroy them? what are your thoughts Nplussers?

Bumper
Omigosh, like totally! This was one of my favorite items in Super Smash Bros (N64)! The damn thing hits so hard! and, at least in the N64 game, if thrown correctly will keep pummeling the player it hits all the way to his death if he was over a void! This time Sakurai says that it can "stick" in mid-air! If placed right at the edge of a level, it makes for one awesome cheap-kill parade... or cheap death parade, depending on what side of the bumper your on. I guess this is why alot of players call items "unfair" - oh well, thank god it's so hilarious, cause I'm keeping mine on! In the 64 version, if placed on the ground and ran into the bumper would slide to a new spot on the floor. Boy was this thing fun!

Characters
Donkey Kong

"I know that monkey! His name is Donkey!" - My main character makes his confirmed re-entry into the game! DK, the slow moving power house of emmense... power! This character is usually scoffed at by many players, novice or veteran, because... well simply put, many players cannot control him with enough grace. I believe I can though, as the big hairy ape gets more play time in my cube than Young Link or Game & Watch put together. DK is, like I said, slow, he moves across the field with "ok" speed, but his attacks are slow to pull-off. He also can take hits very well, almost as well as Bowser, which makes him very hard to throw from the ring. DK = Power though, crazy power! I think that he throws the most damaging attacks out of any fighter (who is not powered up like "Giga Bowser"). One can only wait to see what the Furry Muscle has in store for his Final Smash attack...

15 Second Movie Presentation

This video is what they used in the E3 Presentation, only it's extended a tiny bit more, is High in Quality, does NOT have Reggie speaking over it, and has brilliant audio. I HIGHLY recommend checking this bad-boy out. Just watching the levels move through the sky is fantastic! You also can catch a glimpse of a few Final Smashes being preformed!

So People! What do you all think?! Is this not the cat's pajamas or what?! - What has been your favorite news bit so far about the game (other than the street date of coarse)? Giga Bowser? Samurai Goro? The Music, or Bannana Peels? somthin' else? speak your brawlin mind out!
