(Bundleless) Red and Black DS Coming in October

I checked, and as far as I know this hasn't been reported anywhere or officially announced by Nintendo, so you're reading it here first!

I think everyone saw this coming, but we now have an official confirmation. The Crimson and Black DS Lite will be sold separately in America.

I was at my local Babbage's today and they had a cardboard stand-up for Phantom Hourglass. I know you probably can't make it out from the picture (sucky phone camera), but near the top, they had a picture of the Crimson/Black DS that said "New Color Coming October".

I can only assume the red/black DS will launch with Phantom Hourlgass on October 1st.

I'm perfectly happy with my all black (onyx?) DS Lite.
Crimson looks nice though...
