The DS is getting the most awesome port ever! sure, sure, you say you hate ports, but really we all love them... as long as they get the controls right. Anyway Mortal Kombat 3 (the arcade edition) is due out in the US on November 12, 2007 and in Europe sometime in November 2007. The game supports WiFi and Local 2 player modes in both Mortal Kombat 3 and the included Puzzle Kombat game! reports also say that in both games you can switch the top screen and bottom screen displays.

After years of not playing the older, 2D digitized versions, I got my hands on some UMK3 and I forgot how horribly it has aged. Call me jaded on Street Fighter, but Mortal Kombat feels incredibly broken. I never remembered it feeling this broken before, but it's nice to see someone trying to make a decent port.

All I needs is a real Street Fighter game for the DS with WiFi (or better yet, Project Justice or Power Stone).

i loved Mortal Kombat as a kid, i think the characters (save for blanca) were some of the coolest around
