NoE Site To Get A Much Needed Update

It appears Nintendo Europe are finally giving their site an overhaul. It's never been a nice place to visit, with bland colours, tiny text, and some weird glitches. There's an announcement on the site today that states:On 26 November we will close the curtain on our current website as we enter the final stages of preparation for our new online home. We would like to ask you for your patience as we work on finalising the new website. In the meantime we’ll make sure you can keep registering your products and will still be able to find our latest game sites.
No word on what the new site will look like, but I'm willing to wager that it'll be similar to the Wii and Touch Generations site. In the announcement, NoE also mention that VIP members will become Club Nintendo members, and I hope that this means that we'll now be able to use our hard-earned stars to buy Virtual Console games. Whilst they're at it, I also hope that they update Europe's WFC site. It's been a pet hate of mine for a while now.

On the subject of web standards... try IGN's search engine. Not very good if you're epileptic.
