Everybody Votes at N+

, , , ,

Last week we asked about what kind of devices you use to browse N+. Not surprisingly, an overwhelming majority (87% in fact) chose a computer as their number one method of browsing the web. The Wii's Internet Channel followed with 7%, and 3% of you use your DS Browser of phone/mobile device.

This week marks the start of June, and we're coming up on three major "music game" releases this month. Guitar Hero: On Tour for the DS comes out on June 22, and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith comes out for the Wii on June 29. Rock Band for the Wii will also be released on June 22.

Which of the June music game releases are you looking forward to the most?

  • Guitar Hero: On Tour
  • Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
  • Rock Band
  • Music games? Ugh.

As always, votes can be cast in the sidebar on the right, and you must be a member of N+ to vote. Feel free to comment on your choice below!

Having played Guitar Hero only for a couple of songs and finding it to be a bad copy (to my taste, of course) of Dance Dance revolution but for the lazy who don't wanna move their feet and rather use their fingers, I can say that I'm NOT waiting for the release of ANY music game...
I am, however, intrigued by Rock Band, which at least attempts to simulate a whole band and can give you different music options...

I rather wait for Guitar Hero: 4 than get Rockband even if i have to get the whole kit as i Don't need the secont Guitar Controller & im not really intrested in the mic .
I havine to get the whole kit just for the drums .

Rockband im worring about its instrements breaking down .

Rockband doesn't have any Pay'n'play unlike Guitar hero:4 which has been confurmed to have Pay'n'play .

Spook 7. June 2008, 05:20

After you already payed TONS of money for a game...you still have to pay SOME MORE to play other songs?

MK 7. June 2008, 07:05

Well, yeah. That's what additional content means. You get the whole game, but if you get tired of the songs it has--instead of waiting for a sequel you can spend a couple bucks on some more songs.

@spook81
The pay'n'play content should not coast too much .

While i heard that it be $5.00 per pack which has several tracks should be worth it .
its a shame that the pay'n'play service haven't launched when Guitar Hero 3 is released .

As rockband is released since
Nintendo launched the pay'n'play there is no excuse for Wii owners should miss out when it could easily be done .

since the wii currently lacks the ability to use hard drives/flash drives storage could be a nightmare. let's hope nintendo adds such functionality to wii via a downloadable update soon. or at least allow direct reading/writing off sd.

Pikachu Electron 8. June 2008, 00:58

@bigdawg

I agree with you .
My 2gb SD card got more than enoth storage space for most people .

Think of it less than 300mb is left to use for games 7 saves after the rest being used for OS & message board .
A 2gb or 2048mb card contains much more storage .

2gb card is what most people would really need .

I even heard some people thinking about getting 8gb sd cards .
There is one problem the Wii is not Compatible with sdhc .

where is the awesome "Samba de Amigo" in your Vote?

Will be released soon and kick Guitar Heroes Ass!

Ace Jon 9. June 2008, 16:49

You pay about qraudruple the price of a 'normal' game, and you get a less game. <dislike />

Spook 9. June 2008, 17:28

Thanks AceJon... my sentiment exactly...
If a game is going to be as expensive as these music games (yeah, granted, they're charging you for the peripherals) at least they should make these downloads free... or maybe have a free package and then premium ones that would be charged for... but still... WAY too much money on a single game...

Big dawg 9. June 2008, 17:46

yeah, the wii guitar hero cost almost as much as the wii itself.($200) >>
