Miyamoto: Want Kid Icarus on Wii? Please wait.

Way back in 1987 and amid the hype caused by a certain plumber, a winged kid made its debut. Now, the franchise enjoys a cult following and it is one of the most awaited IPs on the Wii. We are referring to, of course, Kid Icarus.

However, and as you might have noticed, the game has been taunted at and promised for many E3, and this last iteration it wasn't even mentioned at all. Nintendo Power also noticed this and asked Miyamoto about it. Here's what he had to say.

Wait, please. I'm really surprised how popular that is. But you are the first person to ask at this E3!


So, wait. Again. Some more. Maybe next year he'll come up with a drawing of the game (oh, snap!) ¬.¬
