September N+ Banner: Metroid Prime Trilogy

, , ,

Alright, I really wanted to make a Kingdom Hearts Banner for this month, but my Illustrator is not functioning at the moment. So I searched through my files and found an old drawing I did for Metroid Prime when it first came out. So I decided to use that picture and Photoshop it up to create the banner you see above! Wallpaper will be coming soon! All in all I think it turned out well after the Seagull's magic touch!

So I encourage all to go out and purchase Metroid Prime Trilogy!

I'm not a Metroid Prime fan, but I was getting tired of the old banner. The new one is a nice change!

Cool banner... as for the Trilogy, I'm still not sure if I'll get it or not... I mean, I do like Metroid Prime, but I've already played Corruption (and still own the disc, so I'd feel I'm paying again for it), and the other two my brother has on GC discs...
And I still have to get me Cursed Mountain... Maybe when I get a job again... p

Dude, the Wii controls are simply amazing. It makes the first two games feel brand new. The platforming is easier (you can look down at the platforms you're jumping on! HOLY MOLY!) and feels a lot more natural. Plus the other minor improvements are awesome. Do you know how fun it is to Morph Ball jump in Prime 1 by flicking the remote? TONS OF FUN. Without having to drop a bomb every time to jump, I've almost cleared out entire areas completely in morphball form. The new super-homing lock-on missiles are awesome. I can practically shoot around corners as long as I'm locked-on.

The Flamethrower augment was laughable on the GameCube. Now I can actually SPREAD the flames around with the Wii-remote.

There is absolutely no way I can go back to playing the Metroid Primes on the 'Cube now.

I'm on my second play-through of Trilogy's Prime 1 because I missed that stupid Ice Shriekbat. It even has the Metroid Fusion suit as an unlockable. No Metroid 1, unfortunately, as far as I know. Nintendo wants you to buy that for 500 points.
