Connection Ambassador Program Launches in Europe

, , ,

You heard about it in Japan and were jelaous (and kind of amazed that so many Japs were still enjoying their Wiis offline). Now us Americans can be jealous of Europeans, too: they just got the Connection Ambassador Program going. What's that, you ask? Simple! If you help offline Wiis get online, you get 500 Wii points. Yup. That easily. But that's not all! There's more.

You do get 500 Wii points for each Wii user you help get online (provided they were never online to begin with). But if you manage to get 10 of those online, then you achieve 'gold status', and suddenly, ALL Nintendo-released NES titles for the Virtual Console are unlocked to you. BUUUUT if you get 20 people online, you achieve 'platinum status' and guess what? ALL of Nintendo's VC catalogue becomes available, free of charge... that's all Nintendo NES, SNES AND N64 games, for free!! Pretty cool, huh? Let's just wait this program ever crosses the great divide.

I'm going to set up a support center here. Joking bigsmile
What about those who I'd be helping? Do they also have to be European?

@Siskan
Its mostpropably that both you & those that you help have to be European .

From what i heard that theres been 5 people in japan that have managed to help 20 people .

Me i only know 1 person who has Wii that if this comes here down under that i might help .
At least i get 500 free points just i won't be able to help her from stopping little tackers putting 3 disc's in at once .
