YAY!!! Sorry I forgot to ask this in a timely manner, but if you get the chance, can you ask how the 3d imagery will be affected for people with astygmatism and other eye disorders?

Wonderful launch selection. Publishers seem to be putting their weight behind 3DS, and we'll hopefully see the most detailed versions of their games on the 3DS.

Nintendo seems to be trying to tap more of the "hardcore" market Sony cater to so well.

This may be a bit off-topic, but weren't they supposed to have introduced Pikmin 3, too?

MK-MK Wednesday, June 16, 2010 4:31:49 AM

OH yeah all of this excitement made me forget about Pikmin 3! Oh well, they'll need SOMETHING for next year.

Miyamoto said "rest assured, we are working hard on Pikmin" at the roundtable tonight.

You can disable the 3D if you don't want it/can't use it.

Then what's the point in it?

Rafael Luikrafaelluik Thursday, June 17, 2010 4:21:55 AM

For you, just the better looking games graphics thanks to 3DS' CPU/GPU capacity and maybe new features on the OS / applications.

Touché.
The inner child in me who could rarely experience 3D and the adult in me who's eyes cannot realize 3D will continue to mourn, though.

Most people will keep the 3D on. Disabling it is just an option. Available just in case. You don't need to change an option just because it's there.
