Downloadable AR Cards (And Mini Experiment)

The AR feature of the 3DS surprised me. I never would have thought it would've been that cool, and it's the main feature that has gotten all my 3DS-less friends jealous (other than my Street Fighter IV skills). It's also fun to compare your 3D photo taking skills. Anyhoo, after snooping around on Nintendo's site to see how much they're charging for 3DS parts, I found a handy little link:Download Replacement AR Cards!
You can download and print as many AR cards as you want! Or, if you're savvy, put'em on your phone like I did. The cards are great and all but they're a pain in the pocket to carry around. However, now that I currently have two of each AR card, I figured it's time to get a little... experimental.
Check after the break to see SAMUS-ON-SAMUS ACTION!
As you can see, the 3DS will only recognize one card at a time. So the brighter card (on my iPhone) has taken priority. This failure of an experiment prevented me from printing out millions of cards (or buying more phones) to create a virtual PIKMIN army. However, this experiment was done by generating the Samus on my phone FIRST and then placing the duplicate... what if--
And PRESTO:
He is not Samus at all. Get out of here AR Box dude. So apparently, the 3DS replaces a model with AR Box dude to avoid exploding from confusion with all this card swapping... And for the record, you can't have Double AR Box dude. Believe me, I've tried. I get crazy teleporting AR Box dude, but only one at a time. Well, looks like you learn something new everyday.
P.S. Nintendo sells the charging cradle by itself for 4 bucks, by the way. If you've got any extra DSi charging cables laying around, you can have a cradle for every room in your home! I'm thinking about puttin' one in my car.
