Monster Hunter Tri G Release Info Updates (And Then Some)

Thanks to Ben Markham for getting the ball rolling on this story. It seems that Official Nintendo Magazine's Michael Gapper has written a two-paged article regarding the upcoming anticipated title, giving it an estimated release period of "Autumn 2012". The following video shows the ONM scans, as well as some new Subspecies scans; again, courtesy of Ben. More after the break.
While Monster Hunter Tri G is basically an extended port of the original, Capcom promises that there is enough new content to please even the most weary Monster Hunter veterans, with "...G rank quests, new monsters, equipment, and new supporting characters...in order to satisfy..."1 ONM absolutely raved about the title:
Originally posted by Official Nintendo Magazine:
Part port, part expansion, 3G isn't as pretty but it's even more impossibly huge which makes it the 3DS's most impressive technical feat...
3G takes the best bits of Tri and the PSP's Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, nicking monsters and areas from both, with some new areas and tricks designed exclusively for 3DS.
For those opposed to using (or carrying) the new analog add-on in order to gain full camera functionality in-game, ONM reports that a virtual D-Pad on the touch screen gives manual camera support. However, the article also states that the new slide pad peripheral will be essential to Monster Hunter 4, which is also in development for the Nintendo 3DS. Capcom's official Investor Relations page regarding the Monster Hunter series lists the initial release date for Monster Hunter Tri G as Saturday, December 10th, 2011, with the release date of the tentatively titled newest project as TBD.1

I've shared it with our Twitter followers; I'd edit it into the article as well, but I'm currently digesting ¾lb of food and need time to recharge!
