Platinum Gift from NOA!

, , , ,

I just got this in the mail, and I'm super-duper excited! You see, Nintendo has this thing called "Club Nintendo", which is wicked rad. You can register every Nintendo system you buy and any first-party games developed by Nintendo. Doing so earns you virtual coins that you can redeem for awesome little gifts and prizes, including a life-size AR card for your 3DS!

There are even two levels (Gold and Platinum) that you can reach, depending on the time of year and amount of coins you obtain, and those levels come with free prizes. The Gold prize for 2011 was a stylish Star tote bag, and the Platinum gift is this kicky sweet pin set. I'm going to wear all of the pins.

I made Platinum this year too, but I chose the Gold reward: Desktop Calander.

It's smaller than I expected, but it's primo-quality artwork and every month is actually a badass double sided card that features an awesome game or series. One side of the card is big artwork with a mini calander underneath, and the other side has the "calander squares" with smaller but different art on it.

It's way cool, like a Nintendo art collection.
