Bragging Rights + Dreams Do Come True

, , , ,

Time for me to jump up on my soapbox and brag.

My girlfriend is awesome. I'm not going to sit here and list all the reasons why the sun rises because of her and romantic stuff, come on this is a Nintendo blog. But she does like things that I like. She is playing through A Link to the Past again. And she shares my obsession with Pokémon.

The picture to the right is us last week at my aunt's birthday party. Yes. We went as Ash and Misty. We were three hours late and got our supplies during those three hours.

I have wanted to dress as Ash Ketchum since I was eight years old. Now, at 19, I was finally able to do it with my Misty.

Dreams do come true.

Anton: Your wife is incredible and awesome and you are so lucky.

No, it wasn't a costume party! Just a 90's themes party. What is more 90's than Pokémon? For us, nothing.

Sailor Moon, Americanized Mega Man, Batman:TAS and Toonami, when it rocked, growing up with your parent's favorites...You asked.

Half the people in the world don't even know that Pokemon and Sailor Moon actually came on American TV around the mid and late 90's....I remember when Pokemon aired on WGN.

I went as Team Rocket Ed and fell out of a tree off screen.
