Animal Crossing Fishing Tournament Today

There is a fishing tournament today in Animal Crossing: City Folk. In my town of Rosewood, it's limited to carp only, maybe yours is different? Actually, do you even have a town yet? If you don't, just to rub it in, here is a picture of my winning catch! Did anyone else beat this size? What size was your fish?

The next in-game event will be on the 23rd, and its the Flea Market, be sure not to miss it! This is when you get to visit everyone's home and buy the items they have, and in turn, you can wait in your own house to sell the items you don't want - sure beats Nook's offers.

For my Animal Crossing Wild Word (DS version) I had a caught a shark and entered that and won because it was a 120 something

But I had to hold onto the shark for a while just to enter it. Did you win your with your carp?
