GameStop Releases DSi Pre-Order Program - Let The Mayhem Begin!

GameStop has begun taking pre-orders for Nintendo's new portable system as of today, requiring US$25 to ensure you'll get your new DSi on Sunday, April 5th, nationwide. Although there are no official comments on just how many systems they'll be getting, anyone care to guess how long until pre-orders run out? And will the average Joe be able to snatch a DSi on release without a reservation?

I don't think they have to. After DSi was announced, people are bound to leap ferociously at retailers asking for pre-orders every 5 minutes.
