Europe, seagull, The Last Story
I get it now, North America finally catches up with Europe in acquiring top quality games by announcing Xenoblade Chronicles as a April 2012 release, and what do our brothers and sisters do? They go and 1-up us
again! Nintendo Europe has officially announced that The Last Story, another one of those
Operation Rainfall games we've talked about, will not only be released in Europe, but will be released before North America even gets Xenoblade Chronicles! Yeah they get The Last Story February 24th, 2012.

Dr Reggie,
Nintendo Europe is kicking
your ass, and taking
your name. With the WiiU coming out late next year, or later if things don't go too well, it looks as if Xenoblade Chronicles may actually be that last story the Wii has to tell. However if you were to localize a couple more games like Pandoras Tower, and The Last Story, you may actually have a more appropriate ending in the Wii lifespan. Otherwise what else is left to play?
Love, Anton

1Nintendo World Report has shared a recent announcement from Nintendo of Europe of a special The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Nintendo 3DS. Essentially, it is a Cosmo Black 3DS with special golden patterns on it and gold coloring on the button letters and depth slider. The highlight at the register, however, is the included copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. The sleeve on the game box is also reversible. The bundle is set to hit store shelves November 25th.
2Nintendo of Europe has also announced on their Nintendo 3DS page that it will be releasing two additional product bundles on November 18th and December 2nd, featuring Nintendogs + Cats and Super Mario 3D Land, respectively.

Xenoblade is a role playing game released on a Nintendo TV-based console that isn't the Super Nintendo. If that's not an odd sentence to read then the next one's going to be a shocker. It's developed by Nintendo as well -- or more accurately a subsidiary of them. The big question is, though, can it live up to Nintendo's usual standards? Most definitely.

Europe, seagull, wii
Strange news: No price or exact date was given, but a new Wii model will be on shelves before Christmas that cannot play Gamecube games, or use it's peripherals (memory cards and controllers). It will come packaged with Wii-Remote Plus, Nunchuk,
Wii Party, and Wii Sports. Joystiq claims it's designed to lay down instead of stand up, though I don't know WHY or HOW you can't just stand the sucker up, probably just doesn't come packaged with the stand. Seeing as how this saves development costs, it's cost is probably going to be lower for you, the European consumer as well. No news if this model will go to the rest of the world, but it looks like Europe will no longer be selling "Full-Power" Wii units once this one arrives. - Also I named the current gen "Full-Power", not Nintendo
Cool News: Well cool for Europeans, not Americans. Euro-Ninty just put out a pretty beefy games release date list, which you can look over fully if you read more past the break, but some of worthy note are... the other two Operation Rainfall games:
The Last Story and
Pandora's Tower for 2012. Yeah, they get all three now, and if they don't sell well Americans get none. Also don't forget guys, that if you get Xenoblade Chronicles, and I quote: "Club Nintendo members who register the game can look forward to downloading the official soundtrack. -
Nintendo"
We also can't forget that
Skyward Sword gets dated as well for November 18, two days before North America... does anyone want to help me "take
Reggies name" after "kicking
his ass"? because Europe is ALSO treating hand-held owners in Europe to a free GBA game download, from the DSi Ware list you can get something called
The Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords or something un-important that nobody cares about
Read more for more release dates, like Kirby something something...

North American Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime says that Nintendo is going to keep an eye on sales of
Xenoblade Chronicles in Europe, and if it does well... who knows what could happen. But if I were to guess, I would say that Nintendo of North America would want a little bit of that cash-money too, and would actually release one of the three games that
Operation Rainfall is trying so hard to get localized. So either bug your European buddy to buy it, OR buy it as a gift for your European buddies (so sales go up, not because you care about him) to help it become a North American game too.
"We will be watching very closely what happens in Europe... Certainly if there are business opportunities and positive consumer uptake from some of those titles, that will be great data for us to consider as we look at what to do with these titles."
- Reggie Fils-Aime
Can someone do this with
Fatal Frame? I still wanna play that one!

KIRBY SET TO BE THE LATEST STAR OF THE SMALL SCREEN
Classic character cements his place as a gaming legend by starring in his own TV channel available exclusively on Wii
Fresh from the recent release of the critically acclaimed Kirby’s Epic Yarn, the cute and adorable Kirby is returning to Wii on 23rd June 2011, as part of his own dedicated TV Channel. http://pokebeach.com/#shiny-entei-suicune-and-raikou-to-be-distributed-at-gamestop-in-january The Shiny Beast WiFi Mystery Gift event that is going on right now in the US is going to move directly to Europe the day after you can catch Suicune in the United States. Raiku will kick off the event in Europe, followed by the other two beast respectfully. I have updated the link in the Hot Bar at the top of the main blog page, and will also post the dates here. On a side note there are now rumors that Selebii is going to follow them to Europe too, but just like the American event, we are still waiting for it to be official.
Raikou: February 7th 2011 to February 13th 2011
Entei: February 14th 2011 to February 20th 2011
Suicune: February 21st 2011 to February 27th 2011
The Pokemon can be downloaded to any fourth generation game, and each of the Pokemon knows moves they cannot normally learn: Raikou comes with Weather Ball, Entei with Flare Blitz, and Suicune with Sheer Cold. The shiny Pokemon also know Extremespeed, are at Level 30, inside Cherish Balls, and with Classic Ribbons. When one of them is imported to Black and White, you can battle and capture a Level 25 Zoroark.

Europe, seagull, 3DS, konami
This doesn't exactly mean ALL of these games WILL be out on day ONE of 3DS launch in Europe, this just means that these are the games that Konami is going to start with for the 3DS over in Europe - but it COULD mean that all four are there for the 3DS launch, but not GOING to. One game may come out ond day one, and another on day two, I want to stress that point, and now the press release:
-This press release is from Voltage PR's website.
Four of the Best for Nintendo 3DSTM
KONAMI brings new versions of classics titles to new Nintendo handheld in Europe, including Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evolution Soccer and Contra...
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced details of its first titles for the new Nintendo 3DSTM handheld system for release across Europe. The publisher has confirmed its support for the new hardware with four new titles, including the Hideo Kojima-developed Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater; a new Pro Evolution Soccer title; classic run’n’gun shooter, Contra and perennial favourite, Frogger.
Interest in all four titles is already soaring following their overseas announcement, and KONAMI will be releasing further information on the four titles in the coming months. “We are delighted to confirm that KONAMI has four major titles in development for Nintendo’s 3DS system,” offered Kunio Neo, President for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “The chance to explore popular franchises such as Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evolution Soccer, Contra and Frogger within a 3D realm is an exciting opportunity, and we cannot wait to share more news in the coming months.”

It's official. Nintendo HATES America ¬¬ Not only will they release
Super Mario All Stars for the Wii both in Japan and Europe but also,
that sexy-looking Red Wii to mark the ocassion of Super Mario Bros.' 25th. anniversary that was supposed to be Japan-only, has now been revealed to be also Europe-bound... with some modifications.
Nintendo has confirmed that the bundle you see in the image is coming to Europe on October 29th. and while the red Wii and Wii Remote Plus are included, the games that were bundled with the Japanese version will differ. In the European version of the bundle the modified re-coding of Super Mario Bros. (which replaced the '?' question mark on blocks for the number '25') is replaced by the original version of Donkey Kong. However, the European bundle will also offer Wii Sports and a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
For both Mario-related goodies, NoA is still quiet about an American release...

Time to really envy Euro folks. Remember that
lovely 'Japan only' Super Mario All Stars Wii bundle we posted about a few weeks ago? Well, it turns out it won't be Japan-only anymore. Nintendo Sweden announced that the company plans to release the coveted pack Europe-wide.
The box set will include a Wii disc with Super Mario All Stars (nothing has been revamped, just ported as-is) which in turn includes SNES-updated versions of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, a Special Edition soundtrack CD containing music from all Super Mario games, a commemorative DVD and a history booklet with the Red Plumber's story all over its pages.
The bundle is set to be released in Europe on December 3rd., just in time to make it into your Christmas presents list. Again, no announcement has been made by NoA regarding a North American release. However, the fact that the game has made it outside Japan and it has been translated to English, gives us hope...

Hit the jump for the titles, and well, not really any descriptions. There was no press release this week, so sorry you're missing out.
