This Monday brought us 3 new titles to the Virtual Console in North America. Most notably is the reputable space shooter, Gradius III. This update would have been a great deal longer, and a lot sooner, but Pokemon Diamond and Pearl came out today... so... I already forget what I'm writing about. Must destroy children's dreams over WiFi.

Seriously though, for any arcade space shooter fan, Gradius III is a must own this week. For those looking to appear cool and savvy in front of your friends, just download it and invite some friends to gawk at youe excelent choice of VC games.

New titles this week are a mixed bag. One well known Lengendary title and two that I know no one on earth has ever played before. It's Chu Man Fu time right guys?! Say I'm wrong.

It's another Super Mario Monday!
This week Super Mario World (...mmmust gggettt), Vigilante, and Gain Ground (interest.ed) join the Virtual Console menu for those lucky North Americans with a few Wii Points to spend. As always, continue reading this post for more info, some newly announced titles, and now a growing list of Wikipedia entries to accompany the games. I swear this list will kill me one day.
Is anyone NOT getting Super Mario World? Should I try Gain Ground? And what could the newly announced titles be?

Nintendo has finally got enough titles approved, and at a rate quick enough to promise "4 new Virtual Console games every Monday by 9:00 AM PST" or 12 Noon my time.This Monday we get:
- Donkey Kong Jr. (NES): 500 points
- Victory Run (TG-16): 600 points
- Columns (Sega Genesis): 800 points
- Ristar (Sega Genesis): 800 points
