N+ Review: Xenoblade Chronicles

, , , ...

Xenoblade is a role playing game released on a Nintendo TV-based console that isn't the Super Nintendo. If that's not an odd sentence to read then the next one's going to be a shocker. It's developed by Nintendo as well -- or more accurately a subsidiary of them. The big question is, though, can it live up to Nintendo's usual standards? Most definitely.

Rumor: First North American DSi Pictures?

, , , ...

A member of NeoGAF named renzo recently posted pictures of his latest "pick-up" in the "February Pick-Up" thread. His pick-up? A North American DSi.

No one currently knows how renzo obtained the DSi, but if final boxed systems are appearing, it's a safe bet that the system will hit retail soon.

There's one more picture, of the instruction manual, in the NeoGAF thread, so you might want to check that out. We'd also recommend keeping tabs on that thread for the latest information (or you could just keep reading N+).

If these images are real, which they certainly appear to be, we wouldn't be surprised if they're linked to the IGN teaser we posted earlier.

Let's Tap On The Way to America, Europe

, , , ...

Yesterday, SEGA announced its plans to bring a eccentric Wii game called Let's Tap to the United States and Europe. Created by Sonic creator Yuji Naka, Let's Tap offers a new method of control: tapping. With five mini-games that have you racing through a course or balancing blocks, Let's Tap is controlled entirely by placing the WiiMote down on a flat surface and tapping.

Let's Tap is on track for American and European releases this summer.

Simultaneous Two-Day Nintendo Events Planned for October 2-3

, , , ...

Earlier this week, we told you about a rumored Nintendo press event set to take place in Japan on October 2. We were (partly) right. Nintendo of Japan has confirmed to MCV that an event is taking place in Japan on October 2, but that "it's contents and announcements are still being planned." Excited? That's not all.

Gaming outlets in America have begun to receive invitations to a two-day media summit in San Francisco, which will take place from October 2 and October 3. Yes, two simultaneous events in Japan in America. And yes, a two-day summit. That means megaton, right?

I hate to do this again (I can basically copy/paste my E3 predictions), but here's what I'm hoping for from this conference: news on Disaster: Day of Crisis + an American release date, a Wii storage solution that makes sense, a (possible) DS redesign, the much-anticipated Kid Icarus announcement, and an announcement for the next Zelda Wii game. But um, an update on Cammie's wrist sounds nice as well...

Wii Music Gets Boxart, Date Change

, , , ...

Pictured above is the newly revealed boxart for Nintendo's upcoming game toy, Wii Music. What do you think? Sure, it's clean and stylish, but it's still my least favorite box of all of the "Wii _________" series of games.

Nintendo Wii Fanboy also notes that Gamestop and Amazon have changed their expected release date of the game to October 20, fourteen days earlier than the original date of November 3.

To do this, you need to collect seasonal spirits. Pick them up with the spirit cannon, shoot them at the center of the screen, group them and make them disappear. But watch out-they get faster and faster. In short: Potpourrii is a puzzle game that keeps you hooked with its colorful visuals, beautiful effects and easy-to-use controls using the Wii Remote™ controller. Play alone or with a second player, and even use your Mii™ character.
