Dun dun DUN! It's time for our Game of the Year post. I want to say something witty here .... but I can't think of anything! What's happening?! Or have I never been witty before?!?!
2007 was a great year for games. These are the best of the best, and a game is excellent to even be considered for this award. It's that time of year ... when the world falls in love, every song you hear.... wait, ... what was my point?
Ah yes, it's the time of year for the ever so popular year-end gaming lists. N+ will be doing it's first 'AssessmeN+' over the course of seven days, giving awards in seven different categories. Our choice for Game of the Year will be named next Wednesday, when we will also announce the results of our reader's choice poll.
Nominees were named in advance by the moderators. Overall winners were determined by the number of votes that particular title received. In the event of a tie, ....... I decide the winner.
Our first category is the Biggest Disappointment of 2007. What a way to get rid of our Christmas cheer.The nominees are:
