I had to tear myself away from teaching mutated animals naughty phrases in Animal Crossing: City Folk (I seriously have AN ORANGE with CAT EARS living in my town) to post our 2008 Costume CoN+est winners.

While we didn't have as many entrants as last year, the quality was top shelf. Check em out in the 2008 Costume CoN+est Album.

2000 Wii Points goes to Zenyou with an adorable and impeccably detailed Infernape from Pokemon Diamond!

2nd and 3rd place were going to get 1500 and 500 Wii Points respectively, but as of this writing both CaptainSeagull and Jayvee's Waluigi and Wario costumes (right down to the shoes) were in a dead heat, so they're each gonna get 1000 Wii Points each.

...buuuutt, since I like em both so much, I'm gonna throw in some extra. Both get 1500 Wii Points each instead. Wario greed happen.

Yes, that's right! We were actually able to have a gallery this year! Remember you have until the 7th of November to get your pictures in. This gallery will get filled with more photos as they get submitted. I hope more get submitted. I know a couple of you dressed up, all you have to do now is get photos in! To take a looksors at the gallery, come on in.

This is the Demo Post of a succesful entry into the Costume CoN+est. This should help you get ideas on how to take photos and how to stay within the rules when entering. It's designed to help answer most of your questions. This is the first year that N+ was able to do the costume coN+est, and it turned out great! It seemed for a while that there were a few entrants, but in the final minutes (LITERRALY!) entrants finished up the touches on the costumes, and submitted photos!

First off, let me say that you members voted .ed into ring, and myself out - THIS was the only purpose of the member poll! The N+ moderators had an almost impossible challenge of deciding on who was first second and third! we had ties the entire time in our own private poll, until the last second!

Well folks! you have two weeks left to get your costume ready for Halloween! Technically you have 3 weeks left to make one for our contest, remember you have one week after Halloween to get your pictures submitted. We want you guys to have fun for the holiday too though!

So far we have a few entries in the coN+est gallery, get in there and cheer them on with comments! Moderators are choosing the winners, but there still may be the "members favorite point" added in! and even though there are only a few it's not over yet! I have a mailbox with alot of questions concerning entries and such, so other members are actually getting ready to snap some pictures! This is your shot at getting those 3 games you always wanted but couldn't get! Don't forget to keep yourself updated with all the current rules, and if you have a question that isn't answered in that post, ask me!
