N +

Hey everyone! I hope you like the header! It a tiny bit of editing to get it to fit right, so this is V2, I know a few of you saw V1 - Check out the wallpaper if you want, I think it's pretty cool but i'm a bit partial myself. I had a different header in the works for October featuring Kirby in a different "power up" but I wasn't going to be able to finish that on time, it might just make an appearance later... maybe.

Anyway, jack-O-lantern Kirby has spotted something in the distance.... what is it that approaches?

It just feels too good to make N+ artwork anymore! I love my Wacom tablet! Anyway, this month moderator Jayvee was gonna hit you up with something, and I started next month's art, only somehow I finished it in one sitting (with lunch in-between). Me and Jayvee talked about it, and since mine is ready to post and his is about 15 minutes away and his birthday is next month... we decided to just trade, so this month I bring you "Grand Theft Auto: N+ Wars" starring our leader .ed as the games hero/villain!

Well I finally get around to doing this post, a day late and a dollar short. I'm ducking broke I tell ya (little iPhone humor for you guys)! Took longer than I thought to finish this design, especially when there hasn't been a header for February. I guess this one'll work for March. Right before Cap'n moved and lost his internet connection for a month he posted a story stating that construction was almost finished. He must have been smoking rope that day as I wasn't close to being done. Anyway, here it is. I'm going around nitpicking things here and there, but it's pretty much finished.

It doesn't work properly in Internet Explorer 6 or 7 because they suck I'm not allowed to change the markup to provide padding elements for Internet Explorer to be happy with the CSS I provided. The best thing to do is use a standards-compliant browser such as Opera (or any browser but IE), and things should be fine. Perhaps sometime down the line the My Opera guys'll throw us another bone like it did with our awesome reviews page.

The header image at the top is of our fearless leader, DotEd, dressed as Travis Touchdown. He's "saving his game". Now that I have this done I can focus on writing a review of the lovely WHITE DSi (just to piss lutherjw off ) I was graciously given by Opera...

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a Happy New Year! I spent mine with a big bottle of non-alcoholic wine and all my neighbors in my Animal Crossing town of Rosewood. We watched fireworks light up the sky and even popped some fireworks ourselves.

N+ gets it's monthly make-over and this month I designed our header to reflect Nintendo's Hanafuda Playing Cards! Haha! You can now get these cards via Club Nintendo in North America, or if you live anywhere else in the world, you always have ebay. I'm not sure if Japan has these cards in their Club Nintendo anymore. Anyway, a wallpaper has not been finished, but keep your eyes peeled, I am working on it - times just got a little rough this past month for me is all. As a side note, the "spade N+ logo" item is an edit of one of Nintendo's original logos during one of their early stages. It wasn't their first, but it was one of the first. Of course the "+" wasn't there, and the letter "n" was smaller (you can now find that logo on the "Master of Illusion" game box art for DS). I hope you enjoy the new theme!

It looks like this year we have a rival who is very powerful with the force! Group 365 is battling with everyone it has to become #1 group! But we mustn't let that happen!

When Cap'n and I discussed the headers for August and September we thought of kawaiipikachu and that he wanted more cuteness in N+. We delivered on that for August, but for September we've gone even further. We've made the cutest header of lutherjw's mom Wario... cute if you're sick in the head. This new header comes complete with a new layout for N+ as well. This part of the September surprise (wtf? It's only August!) was only known to a few of the mods. It's been kept a secret even from the majority of the mods here.

The design is intended to properly separate the content from the sidebar, something the previous layout didn't do too good of a job of. Everything's been styled, even the forums. The layout's been tested, but like everything else there could be problems here and there. I'll fix them as I find 'em.

The header came from an idea I've had for a while, and when drawing it I thought it'd be excellent to do it like those Bill Wray Ren & Stimpy closeups where you'd see the most gross things imaginable. Well, I hope I've made him completely gross. I'm sure the enormous fart cloud would be enough for that.

Like all of our headers the original image used to create the header graphic is viewable by everyone in our Photos section.

Yep, Khadgar does his CG-design thing, MK has his mural, and I, well I decorate cakes. Ok, maybe I like to do a little digital and traditional art here and there too, but I am nothing near as advanced as the Khad man in the computer stuff! You gotta hear him try and walk n00bs like me through advanced (or medium?) Photoshop lessons! But one cake I am particularly proud of is my Bulbasaur Cake.

I made this for my friend Ryan's birthday. He just turned 22 and this is his favorite Pokemon, so how could I refuse? Aside from the Donkey Cake Country I made, this is my first real cake like this. All the rest I have ever done have been the generic cakes you find in the grocery stores case. DCC was like a practice round.
