Just a reminder that the Arceus Event at Toys R Us starts today and runs through November 15th! Again, here is all the info from

You can get this extraordinary Pokemon via a special character distribution happening only at Toys"R"Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico from November 7th through November 15th. It looks like an Arceus event may be coming up! and this time it's confirmed for all three Pokemon games: Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum! Stay tuned for more information as it drops, and we can give you instructions on how to catch this Event-Only Pokemon!
The Pokemon Arceus has been discovered! Little is known about the Normal-type Pokemon, but it's been confirmed that the rare Pokemon is number 493 in the National Pokedex. And what other mysteries surround this pokemon?
Areceus is headint to Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, and Pokemon Platinum Version games, but like Shaymin and Darkrai, Arceus is a Pokemon that won't appear during normal gameplay. We'll have more details soon on how you can get Arceus into your game.
In addition to Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, and Pokemon Platinum Version, Arceus will make an appearance in the next Pokemon movie, as well as in a future Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion!

- Get the National Dex from Prof. Rowan
- Visit the boy in Canalave City who suffers from Nightmares
- Sail to Fullmoon Island and confront Cresselia, when it leaves it will leave Lunar Wing
- Return to the Boy in Canalave, wake him up, then board the ferry at the Harbor Inn
- You can now visit Newmoon Island! Darkrai Waits for you here.
How to Obtain Member's CardOn the 3rd Floor of the Jubilife TV Station, you will find this couple. Normally he will ask you for a greeting for you to provide in battles however if you give him some keywords, he will activate the Mystery Gift function for you. The words are as follows:

Wi-Fi ConnectionNow, on the main menu, Mystery Gift will appear and will sport just one option at first, two if you have received a Wonder Card. You will usually choose the only option which goes to another menu that has three options and an exit; Get From Friend, Get From Wireless & Get from Wi-Fi Connection.

Get From Wi-FiGet from Wi-Fi is exactly what it says on the tin. Using the DS's Wi-Fi Internet abilities, the game connects to the Internet servers and looks for any Wonder Cards that Nintendo has put up. The first use of this feature will be from September 28th to November 4th when Nintendo gives away the Secret Key to Obtain Rotom's Forms over Wi-Fi.
After you have received the gifts, you need to pick it up from the man in the PokéMarts. This gives you the actual item in-game and the delivery man can be found in any of the small PokéMarts within Sinnoh so you can get it anywhere. Once the
Member's Card is picked up at the Pokémart, Save your game!

N+ Update2: It looks like this event does open the ferry up for travel, so now you can visit the New Moon Island and hatch pokemon there to have a sweet "hatched at" location.

Serebii.net reports that the special colored Pichu, given away during 12th movie event, from June 19th to July 18th (which I believe is Japan only), when transferred to Heart Gold and Soul Silver from Diamond and Pearl, and then brought to the Ilex Forest, brings about a special "Notched Ear" Pichu!
This rises speculation on to other special Pokemon - are they all going to be events like this? WILL there be more? Will Celebi no longer appear at this shrine? What say you?

There is a fishing tournament today in
Animal Crossing: City Folk. In my town of Rosewood, it's limited to carp only, maybe yours is different? Actually, do you even have a town yet? If you don't, just to rub it in, here is a picture of my winning catch! Did anyone else beat this size? What size was your fish?
The next in-game event will be on the 23rd, and its the Flea Market, be sure not to miss it! This is when you get to visit everyone's home and buy the items they have, and in turn, you can wait in your own house to sell the items you don't want - sure beats Nook's offers.

Yesterday,
Gamekyo posted a rumor from a Japanese website stating that Nintendo will be holding a media event in Japan on October 2nd. According to this rumor, Nintendo is planning to showcase their upcoming items. Historically, Nintendo has never attended Tokyo Game Show (October 9-12 this year), and has always held a separate event in the same month. So we'd say this rumor is likely to be true.
Today, a Japanese newspaper adds some credibility to that rumor. The
NS Journal states that Nintendo will indeed be holding an event on October 2, and to expect some "new products".
At last years press event in Japan, Nintendo announced Monster Hunter 3 for Wii, WiiWare, Sonic's appearance in Brawl, the Everybody Votes Channel, showed off Wii Music, and a lot more.
I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but Nintendo's been telling us to be patient for core games and a storage solution, so...? Even in a worst case scenario, it simply can't be worse than E3...

FINALY another shot at catching the legendary Deoxys! and this time we DON'T have to visit Space Center in Texas, USA to get him! This is the ONLY "event only" pokemon I am missing! ALL others I have recieved MYSELF with the events, and didn't have to trade over the GTC or to "some kid" who had him, who might have or might have not cheated. AWESOME! OH! You probably want to know how to score one too huh? Hehehe, ok!
Visit your local
Gamestop on
June 20-22 and 27-29 to recieve a legitimate Deoxys. It is unclear if you need the National Dex or not, or If you needed to beat the Elite 4 or not. I recommend beating the Elite 4, getting the National Dex, have only 5 pokemon on your team, and save just outside of a Pokemart.
You will need: A Nintendo DS Prototype (Phat) or DS Lite, and a copy of Diamond and/or Pearl.

Darkrai, If you havent already got him through CHEATING or using a glitch in V.1 of the Japanese game, or by getting him as a trade over Pokemon GTC (most likely originaly obtained by cheating) - Will officially be available in
North America at
Toys"R"Us store between
12:noon - 4:PM on
May,31 - June,1.
Make sure you have Diamond and or Pearl, one open spot on your belt and have completed the elite 4. This is a mystery gift event, and will not unlock the Island. He will also not be able to be traded over WiFi. Darkrai is only legitimately available through Nintendo promotions like this one, and can not normally be found in the game. Chances are this is the only event to give him away.

Last time we told you how to
catch Electivire, this time around we got another event Pokemon that anyone who owns Pokemon Diamond OR Pearl AND Pokemon Battle Revolution can obtain. It's a level 50 Magmorter holding Charcoal!
- Boot up Pokemon Battle Revoution and get into the Menu screen and select Profile
- Select Self Introduction
- Enter code (with hyphens and everything): B416-X4HT-VTWF then select Confirm
- In the Profile screen select OK
- It will then tell you about a gift!
- Go to Shop Menu and select Mystery Gift
- You should get a Silver Poketopia Battle Pass that you can customise yourself! it wont cost any Poketopia Coupons either.
- Turn the DS with Diamond OR Pearl in it on
- A Gift Screen should pop up
- Select Mystery Gift. (you NEED to have a pokedex for this part to work)
- Select: Recieve... Via Wireless... Yes
- During the transfer you will get a Wonder Card telling you where to find him
- Make sure your team has One Open Slot (Have only 5 Pokemon)

There will be some special Psyduck available over the global trading network (Daisuki Club) from
August 26th through the 30th for American players of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. These Psyduck may be considered royalty, you see they are being offered by:
- Junichi Masuda : Gamefreak Director : ID# 05458
- Ken Sugimori : Pokemon Art Director : ID# 38793
- Shegeki Morimoto : Battle Director : ID# 53437
Each Psyduck will come complete with it's Japanese name and Japanese pokedex entry! To try and recieve the Psyduck simply place a ponyta up for grabs in the network, thats what the Pokemon game creators are collecting I guess. The player must already have a Psyduck registered in his/her pokedex to be able to be eligible, and each director is giving out only 30 Psyduck each (90 total)!
When depositing your Ponyta in Jubilife City trade center seek for:
- Pokemon: Psyduck
- Gender: No Preferance
- Level: No Preferance
If you are a Japanese player, you can log in during the same time frame to try and recieve an American Heracross with American name and pokedex entry from some Nintendo of America members, wouldn't it be sweet to have a Heracross thats all about "Kickin' a$$ and takin' names"!? Japanese gamers should place a Rosalia up for trade to try and recieve the special Heracross - I assume that all set-up steps are the same.

Edit: We didn't arrive until later, but our friend/employee at the Nintendo World Store Ashlie said the line to get in earlier was 3 hours long. That's craziness, especially considering people will be able to play it daily there now... Playable games included:
- Call of Duty 3 (with Nunchuck)
- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (with Nunchuk) - turned off because people were playing/waiting too long for it, clogging the works up.
- Madden NFL 2007 (with Nunchuk)
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
- Rampage (with Nunchuk)
- Excite Truck (2 setups)
- Wii Sports (2 setups) (every game)
- Rayman Raving Rabbids
- Dragon Ball Z
- and one other one that I can't remember what was on it.
The lines were long but moving fast. People didn't seem to know that walking between the screen and the player was a stupid thing to do, so most of the time the store employees looked over burdened with controlling 100 bipedal cattle. A testament to how wireless controllers have changed the perception of being connected to a system; now we're connected to the game. ...or people are just impolite and with the bright lights and glazed over look in many of the attendees eyes, it's no wonder their senses were a bit off.
