If you head on over to the Japanese
Mario Galaxy 2 site they have posted tons of new information. They have now confirmed 2 Player Co-Op, allowing a second player to control a Luma to help out Mario during the adventure. They have also posted new videos showing off new levels/gameplay. In other Mario Galaxy news, the
UK Nintendo Magazine has revealed a new power-up... Cloud Mario! Not much is known about this new power, but it looks like Mario will be able to create cloud platforms to use to his advantage! Mario Galaxy 2 will be released in the US on May 23rd, so its only a little more then a month now!

You may have heard this already, but Super Mario Galaxy demos should now be in retailers across the USA. I just called my area GameStop to confirm and they do have it in the demo unit. My area is usually the last to get anything, so chances are most retailers have it available. From what I've heard, this is the full game, not just a demo, so I'm heading out tonight to go play it!
On a related note, all Wii kiosks should now feature tethered controllers (as pictured) so you shouldn't have to give your ID just to demo the game. That means all you under-age Mario lovers out there should have no problem getting your dirty little paws on the game.

We got some information on
Super Mario Galaxy:
- Observatory is the hub, get more stars to access more areas
- Loopdeloop Galaxy is a secret galaxy. This is the level where you ride the manta ray.
- Levels can be played as many times as you want, but you can’t re-collect stars
- Mandibug boss: use dandelions to float up into the air, jump on Mandibug
- Honeyhive Galaxy and the Big Bad Bugaboom sub-level are filled with mandibugs
- 6 save slots

Super Mario Galaxy has already been shown to have some exciting powerups, such as Bee Mario and Boo Mario. Did you think that was going to be it? Well you though wrong. A new video shows off the controls to the aforementioned power-ups, and also unveils a bunch of others.
If you want to stay surprised for when you play the game the first time DO NOT WATCH THE VIDEO. It's amazing, but it might spoil somethings for you.

Nintendo sent out a press release today, detailing what games they will have playable at this year's E For All conference. Galaxy and Brawl top the list, along with several other AAA titles.
The release states out by saying 'You might want to get in line for Nintendo's booth at the E for All Expo now.' How about 'You might want to get LutherJW a plane ticket now.' No takers? Ah well, I hope those attending have a great time!

This past weekend saw the release of many more screenshots of Super Mario Galaxy. They aren't the highest quality images out there, but they definetly beat the crap out of magazine scans. This batch also features a theme, sorta like a halloween theme. Most of the new mages feature Boo-Mario, pumpkins, bats, haunted looking houses, and similar imagery. I also added a couple shots we missed before, the big one was the mysterious female in the game that I still think is Peach with a new haircut. To peep the new images check out

JeuxFrance has released 4 new offscreen gameplay videos of Super Mario Galaxy, featuring the levels Honeybee Galaxy, Star Dust Galaxy, Gateway Galaxy, and Egg Planet Galaxy. These are really great videos with superb sound, and watching them only makes me want to play the game more.

Gametrailers has released two new Super Mario Galaxy videos, featuring MIPS! There are three of them now on one little world, and you must catch them all in order to find out just where in the universe you are. There are holes in the planet/small piece of rock thing that you are currently on that you can get sucked through, collecting hidden rings. There; also two houses of some sort, but I don't know what rabbits would do with a house. THey can't turn doorknobs. But anyway, this 'level' is a great way to work out any problems you may have with the controls.

Nintendo of Europe has just released a bunch of screenshots from Super Mario Galaxy. These excite me because MIPS is back!! This time the cute little rabbit is back with a star rather than a carrot but still, it's MIPS! (Some of the screens may not be new, but they are still going to be included in this post, because I don't know what you guys have already seen.)
IGN also has 4 new videos for you to sink your teeth into, and NOE also released a new one.

Which is good because I was there yesterday reserving Guitar Hero 3, GTA4, and all those Nintendo E3 games, so I guess I'm going back tomorrow!

Mario. The iconic plumber FINALY makes his return to rescuing his princess. Now don't get me wrong, I love taking a trip to the Tennis courts, Basketball courts, and Boardgames that Mario journeys to on a daily basis, but I REALLY miss the magic that was Mario 64. Alot of you I am sure can agree with me right? I mean Mario Sunshine was neat, but it wasn't what we needed to blow us away. Thankfully Mr. Miyamoto can hear our cries in his dreams, it's some sort of magical gift the gods have granted him, because he has out-done himself this time. Mario Galaxy is looking gorgeous! and with a confirmed release date of
November 12 2007 for
North America, I couldn't be much happier. See I could be happier, if they said it was tomorrow, and free. But if you can't deliver it tomorrow at zero dollars, this is the next best thing!
