If you got platinum status then you should have gotten an email like this sent to you by Nintendo. Obviously they still haven't said what the special reward is for going gold or platinum yet.

Also one of our members who already subitted his photos was featured in his local newspaper for "Pumpkin Fest 2007"!
Lucario1996 has one photo in the costume
coN+est gallery of a photographer taking his photo, so I asked if we could get a scan of the paper article. Lucario was actually lucky enough to also have the story printed online! in the
N+ Member Gallery we took a snapshot of the online story if you want to check it out. To read the story without the scanned text, but with actual print, Read More...

While he eagerly awaits the release of Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii (and he's not the only one), N+ member Lutherjw has been busy creating what he thinks the boxart may look like.
The above shot is one of seven, and the others can be found in his dedicated album. They look superb, and I don't think that they'll be far off the actual box - they're so good that they might just as well be the actual box. I particularly like the use of the bubbles on the back.
Also, check out Luther's self-critque of his work, which also gives an overview of how he created it.

No sooner does Beeks share 64DD info with the N+ readers that's so kicky solid we can practically taste it, wiifan24 (Myron)blows my skull clean into next week by simply sharing his!
Oh, AAAAND the most ferocious Nintendo collection I've ever seen. Ever. And I've seen the Internet. This collection may not have "every NES game ever with books" (well, I dunno, it may) but it certainly spans more decades than anyone else's that I've seen, has the widest variety, and left me so speechless, that I couldn't think of a title for this post and I threw my box for Ping Pals into orbit. He had sent these pictures to Neeecole who forwarded them on to me.
Check out the last page of the Member Hardware Album, but first, tie your belt around your chair. All of those tags are intentional.

Whilst browsing the My Opera Community, I came across three "mini reviews" by
N+ member
The Last Sheikah. The three games reviewed are
SSX blur for the Wii,
Spectrobes and
Diddy Kong Racing, both for the DS. The full reviews can be found in
this post (and they're well worth reading), but I thought I'd just post the summaries:
SSX BlurIf you're looking for a Wii Game that isn't a shoddy collection of minigames or a multiplatform game with controls that don't work, this is well worth a look. I have set my standards too high, so it's better than what I say, but still don't expect anything sensational.
SpectrobesSpectrobes is a lot more impressive than the usual attempt at a monster-collecting RPG, but it still has many flaws. Get it if you're interested.
Diddy Kong RacingDiddy Kong Racing DS is a great racing game. Although worse than Mario Kart DS overall, if you already have that, or are looking just for WiFi modes, DKR DS is a fantastic choice.
Due to amount of games and peripherals out there,
N+ are always interested in getting reviews from members (although I kind of hi-jacked these ones

). If you want us to post a review that you've done, just send it (or a link) to us. Alternatively you can write the review in our
forums.

By the marvel of the
N+ Chat room,
Lutherjw showed me this advert for the GameBoy Micro, and I thought it deserved to be shared.
It's good to see that the Micro is still getting the attention it deserves. The video can be found after the break.

I owe N+ member G-off a big thank-you. I love the Zelda soundtrack, and whilst looking through his blog I came across a post which has brought a smile to my face as big as can be.
G-off managed to find an amazingly brilliant piano medley of the main Zelda themes throughout Ocarina of Time, intermingled with some of the best sound effects in any game, ever. A great find, I'm sure you'll all agree.
The clip can be seen on G-off's blog, or after the break. In his post G-off has broken down the medley into it's various parts if you want to know what you are listening to.Read more...
