Last week we found the new Phoenix Wright Apollo Justice in playable online demo form. This week it's Exit DS's turn.
Play Exit DS
What do you guys think of these demos? Would you rather be downloading them from your Wii to DS or is this easier (but less cool) distribution?

I am sure you all have read
my last post about Segas' recently confirmed Wii game,
NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. And you are all aware that the game was tailor made for the Wii years before the Wii was even thought up right? good! Now onto a bit more of the goodstuff regarding this explosive title:
- Forecast Channel: NiGHTS' in game scenery and weather will change depending on your real life regional season and/or weather.
- Three 'Persona' masks: Collectibles enabling NiGHTS to morph. The Dragon mask turns NiGHTS into dragon, making him resistant to wind. The Dolphin mask lets him swim, and the Rocket mask lets him move really fast.
- Connect24: NiGHTS will also let you trade some sort of items with friends.
Is anyone else pumped about this game? Am I the only one here who has played the original?

NGCFrance is reporting on a rumor that Wii Sports 2 is in the works and may feature Swimming, Volleyball, Horseback Riding, and Hockey. Just remember, it's a rumor, but we all know Nintendo has to be working on something as a followup to the unprecidented success and praise the first game earned. Also rumored is online play, which seems only natural.
My prediction was a Wii Winter Sports with Winter Olympic style games. Think about having your own Curling team brushing the ice as you guide your [dumb heavy snork-like] puck down the lane as your Japanese competitors watch online, cursing your team's coordination and skill!
Anyone have any good ideas for more Wii Sports?

wii, online, launch, delay
...
According to a press conference held today, the Wii's online functionality will have to wait. While the Wii Shop Channel will be available immediately, only 12 games will be up at launch. They plan to add games every Monday after launch until the new year. The Weather/Forecast Channel won't be accessible until December 20th, and the News Channel makes its round on January 27th.
No one knows when the Opera Web Browser will be available for download. Hopefully SOON... or else.
It certainly detracts from the everything-out-of-the-box experience I was hoping for. A disappointment, indeed, but a mild one. I mean, if we have waited this long... what's another month or two, right?--especially when we have the Legend of Zelda to keep us occupied.

Online gaming will undoubtedly become a necessity for the next gen, the majority of us believe it already is, deny it if you will, you're fooling no one but yourself. Now we all know what Wii Connect24
does;
Stays online constantly to provide your console with updates for your existing games including those submitted both by your friends and your games' developers. So with that, what does it still lack to trump its rivals Xbox Live and Sony's PNP services?
A few features this enthusiast feels necessary include;
Relevant profile infoI couldn't care less what game some randomer has played the most this week, I wanna know where they're from, what age they are and what their disconnection rate is.
Regularly Organised TournamentsOh the joy of knowing you'll come home from work with the prospect of joining in on a Smash Brothers / Call of Duty / Metty Prime* tournament. Whether prizes vary from a free NES download to a Wiimote, this is something Ninty should take full advantage of.
ChatBoth text and voice communication is a must for finding new people. If Ninty have found the time to implement Weather and News channels they can certainly afford to host a chat facility for us to find new people to play alongside and sometimes, having a few recognisable faces makes all the difference in connecting. Whatever form of Chat we get, it should be easy to Host and Join channels and proceed to view profiles and add as friends [read : none of that friend code bullsh*t!]
Instant Game Joining/InvitingI consider it absolutely essential that you can invite or join your friends in a game currently taking place, it should be as simple as checking a list of your friends currently playing games and choosing to join. Anything more is just complicated.
CounterstrikeWe need a Killer App to demonstrate the console's capability of competing in the online sector. Think of how many people enjoy sitting 3 feet from their monitor at their desktop playing games like CS and then imagine how they'd feel sitting on their couch in a low-lit room playing the same games on their wide screen TV.
This is more of a rough introduction than naything elses, just to get everyone thinking on what would make Nintendo's online service really something else, so please take it upon yourselves to discuss on our forums, exactly what you guys want to see this Christmas.
* I'm fully aware these games don't necessarily contain online features, they are for exemplary purposes
