Since everyone is interested in different aspects of the DSi, we decided to run this like a list of features, all of which we see as improvements. There are a few caveat's like the choice of AAC over MP3. Truth is, AAC sounds better but MP3's are what everyone's got, so converting is a pain for some people, and will probably confure more people than it pleases - bit of a drawback, but in an
added feature, so can we really complain? These types of micro details are all inside. Find what you're looking for, and see what else you may have missed about this excellent system. The truth is, games really make the system, and we know
support for the DSi is going to be huge. However, this system comes with a great deal of additional ways to use it for fun, to record your life, share, and browse the web. You can't really go wrong. So, since no one's reading this long paragraph anyway, here's the listed details:

From here on out I am going to call the game "Animal Crossing:Wii" because of the different names the game has across regions

- But to the point, a few of us have been running into a few photo limitations within the games snapshot feature. When I first ran into it it made me think my SD card was broken or something. DON'T PANIC if you get this message when trying to save a photo to your SD Card:
There is no SD Card in the Wii. Please insert an SD Card into the Wii and try again. For some reason certain photos cannot be saved, who knows why.
Some useful tips with photographs:
- You CAN photograph and save your friend code screen!
- Using the Photo Channel on the Wii you can view all the photos saved to the SD Card from AC and send them to the Wii message board, color on them and all that - no need to mail them from town hall! Try this with a photo of your friend code, and send it to your Wii buddies!

Sunday: nature's boring sister.
Not much going on today and after a few friends came over for some morning whatevs and complained about the size of two rapidly growing fungi (the larger is about a size 4 soccer ball) in my front lawn I went to get tacos. Having witnessed the growths first hand as we made our way to the car, I realized what I had to do.
Yes, I was a bit sloppy, but the neighbors love it. A few more pics in the Member Art gallery.

To be fair, there were a lot of people that missed the deadline for the EvWiiwhere Challenge (originally today was the last day) because of crappy local weather this weekend. I received a few messages from some that convinced me to extend the time frame for submissions another week. While this may seem unfair to those who've already submitted something, it still gives you a whole additional week to get more submissions in yourself, increase your chances of having the fan favorite, and still gives you a longer head start on building up your votes. So no worries, this extension benefits everyone.
To participate, read the detailed original post that also details the voting and prizes. And share the love with banners and buttons! The new deadline for submissions will be the end of the day (globally) May 6th 2007.

The EvWiiwhere Challenge is designed to build a database within N+ and MyOpera of unique photos of the word Wii spelled out (in public for extra fun) while giving credit and sharing the spotlight with our memebers actively participating in the challenge. This is going on all through the month of April. As promis.ed, we're highlighting those who've posted 5 or more images (per the
Instruction Manual). Our second
enplusser to throw
5 6 up was
Furie. Even though some weren't in public, he's getting some bonus points for having at least 5 in 24 hours, giving him a strong start and certainly motivating others. And what's up with the UK totally kicking everyone's neck out here? Man, these States need to wake up (earlier it seems).
Furie's evWiiwhere's
Awesome work there with the food. Check em out, throw out some feedback, and try to 1up with your own!

That said, one promise we made is that we would highlight those who've posted 5 or more images (per the Instruction Manual). Our first enplusser to get 5 in was spaggyj from out of the blue! ...and the UK. Spaggy's evWiiwhere's
Nice. Fast And foody. All good things. Also nice variety. But we need MORE!

After seeing
last night's post about his scores, Nick decided to up the ante a bit this afternoon. Or like 81.
Now in the "Skill Level" range this time, clearly off the chart. Nice.
Nick, you need an Opera page. This is the 3rd news story about you and the only thing I have to link back to is
this, sadly.
UPDATE + Until Nick makes a my.opera page, his tag icon will be as it is above, a constant reminder.
This and more Mii images here.

Click and Digg this story! - then read!
My long time friend Nick (unfortunate previous reference) ended up getting Wii as a late Christmas gift due to demand/shortages from his awesome wife Holly. I had them over in late November and they fell in love with Wii Sports. Despite Nick literally owning every game system in history through the years that I've know him, Holly was actually more enthusiastic about getting Wii for their home.
She called me for weekly updates on my search to find one for Nick in time for Christmas, but we simply couldn't get one. Since he found one on his own, Nick's been playing Wii Sports on his lunch breaks over the past few weeks to catch up to my 6 week lead. He called me today with some awesome news: Nick: Nothing happens when you break 2000 in Tennis.
Me: How do you know?
Nick: I'm 2024.
Me: WHUAA?! Dude can you send me pics?
He played a few more rounds and just sent these to my phone:

And here showing his skill literally
off the chart:
Nick, you are awesome. He also said that he is approaching 2000 in Bowling as well. As many know, you get a [spoiler alert!] special Bowling Ball at Pro level (1000 Points). As far as Tennis goes, Nick says he's been playing the same two people now, at 1900 and 2000 Skill level respectively. How is everyone else doing?
Sorry for the watermarks, but there are a few uncool blogs out there that have already stolen a lot of our images. I stored these here.
