seaempty, N+, poll, members
Last week, we wanted to know what other consoles you owned. It was one of the most popular polls we've ever run, so thank you for taking part! The full results can be found after the break, but it's clear that whilst you guys are clearly Nintendo fans, you do own other consoles.
It's a similar situation for us mods, and with this week's poll, it should become clear why we asked the question. We are considering expanding N+ to cover all consoles, not just Nintendo's, and we would like to hear your thoughts on this idea. We have gaming interests outside Nintendo, like a lot of you, and hopefully you'll enjoy reading about them here, as much as we would do covering them. We do realise that N+ has been a bit
neglected of late, mainly due to changes in the mod's personal lives, but we hope that this will be the case no more!
In some respects this is the most important poll we've ever run, because it could affect the future of this group in a
massive way.
So let your votes do some talking, and choose one of the following options. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
Would you like N+ to cover other consoles?
- Yes, I would like N+ to cover all gaming news, reviews, and previews!
- No, N+ has always been, and always should be, a Nintendo only group!
As always, votes can be cast in the sidebar on the right, and you must be a member of N+ to vote.
I'll reiterate than any comments, or justification of your vote would be very welcome!

It's been a while since we've done an "Everybody Votes" poll, but this one's important. Although we asked this question a while back, we want to ask it again!
Which of the following current generation gaming platforms do you own?
- Wii
- DS
- DSi
- PS3
- PS2
- PSP
- XBox360
- iPhone/iPod Touch
- Other
As always, votes can be cast in the sidebar on the right, and you must be a member of N+ to vote. You can choose all options that apply, and whilst I know the iPhone is not specifically designed for gaming, it does have some cracking titles!

Our new poll, which has been up for about a week now (see the right side of our page), asks about your VG Music collection. How do you store them in your MP3 players, iPods, iTunes, Windows Media Somethings, etc...
Do you keep your favorite songs from the games up front, and least fav towards the end, or do you alphabetize them? I personally go by in-game appearance.
Vote and tell us about your music collection here!
N+ Update: It looks like you guys have a funky error where it wont let you vote. I just emailed Espen of Opera about it. I guess just let us know here now for temporary?N+ UPDATE2:

Looks like a few more votes trickled into the poll! try voting again!

This week, we'd like to know if you rent video games.
Do you rent video games?
- Yes, I get them from a local rental store
- Yes, I subscribe to an online rental service
- No, I buy all of my games

This everybody votes is in close proximity of the elections going on in the United States right now. So why not see which Nintendo Character you would vote for President of N+! We have old timer Cranky Kong (who is in actuality the original Donkey Kong) to try to keep things running "Old School" running against fellow senator Brock. Brock is a newer character to the battlefield with less experience than Cranky Kong, but has plenty of new ideas, and is ready for a change! To vote for president simply cast your vote on the right side of the N+ blog page! Also you must be registered to vote, to register simply join N+ as a member!

Last week, we asked what brightness you normally set your DS to.
10% of y'all (I'm Southern.) don't even have one of them darn DSes. I feel sorry for ya. None of you had it on the lowest (rightly so), two percent had it on 2, 19% on 4, 14% of ya' had an original DS without any ability except off or on with the on setting triggered, and none of you obviously had it turned off on the original either. Not surprisingly either... all of you knew you could change the brightness. What does luther think you all are? Idiots? Bah.
The majority of you all at 52% (including myself) have it set to three.
This week, Luther was off doing something and unfortunately for you all I've made this week's
excellent insane query (at least until he changes it, of course).
Ook?
- Ook.
- Ook-ook.
- Eek.
- Oooook!
- Ooook. Ook-ook, ook.

Last week we asked what you thought about Nintendo's press conference. In my opinion, it was total crap, but... with you guys, it was a pretty even split. 52% were satisfied with the conference, and 48% were not.
Earlier this week, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata admitted that their friend code system was not ideal. In this week's poll, we want to know what you think.
What do you think of the friend code system?
- It's perfect, I love being anonymous.
- It works fine, but it's not ideal.
- It's horrible and needs a major overhaul.

Last week we asked where you first heard about N+. 56% of you said MyOpera or the MyOpera forums brought you to this great, wonderful group. 20% of you responded that you created N+, which, according to my detective work, means four of you are .... liars. 8% of you said a serach enging brought you to N+, and another 8% don't remember. 4% came through word of mouth, and another 4% had something else bring them to N+. No one said they came to N+ through another website...
This week, we have a question about yesterday's E3 conference. We were originally going to ask which awesome announcement was your favorite, but um, there were no awesome announcements...
Were you satisfied with Nintendo's E3 conference?

Last week we asked how many dimensions you liked to game in. A lot of you left comments saying you couldn't decide - it was more of a game by game decision for you. Understandable. For those that did vote, 71% prefer 3D, while only 29% prefer 2D.
This week we want to know about what consoles you own.
What current generation consoles do own?
- I own a PS3, Xbox 360, and a Wii!
- I own a Wii and an Xbox 360.
- I own a Wii and a PS3.
