New video footage direct from Japan Expo. Sit tight and look for the special character near the end! Read more for detailed info on the game. As a side note, there is suspicion of a RE3 remake for Wii. I just e-mailed Capcom about it; stay tuned for the reply when that happens.
A day away from the promised video feed release (June 18th, according to this site), Nintendo has published yet another Famitsu ad.
It looks very similar to the past one, except that this time Tingle appears bigger and is saying something: "Ah!". He's quite a speech giver, huh? Feel free to speculate for a day
UPDATE: The 'video feed' turned out to be three mini-clips of blurry, indiscernible scenes featuring Tingle's silhouette and fairies... nothing worth mentioning.
We kinda likedChronos Twin for the DS. Whilst it's a rock-hard game, it was refreshingly original, and a decent platformer.
EnjoyUp have announced today that the game is being reworked, and will be shortly unleashed onto the Wii, via WiiWare. Yes, it may look a bit... dated, but graphics were never this game's strong point. It's all about the concept of controlling the same character in two spaces of time.
There's no definitive release date as yet, but if you fancy a challenge, and are a glutton for punishment, this game is one to look out for!
Sorry kiddies, Japan only at the moment. If you already have a Wii but want one of the Classic Controller Pros (and live in Japan) you can also get either a Game+Black pro, or a Game+White Pro. So aside form this also confirming the Giant bundle, the two smaller bundles, it also confirms that white Controller Pros are coming (which we all probably figured would happen anyway). It looks as if this could be a clue as to the game being played with Controller Pros (or basic classic controllers) and not Wii-Remote/nunchuck... Hmmm, what do you think?
It looks like Red Steel 2 will have a bundled version, inside the bundle is the game and a Wii Motion + peripheral. Its a good idea to sell it like this, wouldn't want so many people buying this game NOT REALIZING they need M+ for the game. No price set as of yet. Just thought I would throw that itty bitty news bite at you.
Also, a new video, I hope you have about 15 free minutes...
Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars' official site, officially launched today. Peep it out, it looks very nice, shows off the game pretty well, a game I will get, and has some big videos up. They also let you grab this cool widget with videos in it, we posted it here to show it off:
Well, February 24th came and went, and Project RINGO is still not revealed. What's more, Sega just leaves us scratching our heads at the number "247" with a grammatically incorrect banner:
What's mean 247?
Or maybe it's not grammatically incorrect and it hints at an evil number? Let's just hope this game does not involve heavy math just like their previous teasers.
Anyway, a new 'reveal' date did appear: March 12th.
Sega has posted a Flash animation for a new game titled (at least, for now) "Project RINGO". The animation clearly shows off a new mascot (and no, its not Sonic...unless they're giving him a skirt ). Although the site does not give much information about the game (and even if it did, I can't read Japanese so it would be useless for me), it does hint at a February 24th release; whether it is the game's release (not likely) or the release of some details, is still unclear. But we'll keep an eye peeled to see what they come up with or if it's at all related with that weird cowboy guy... or the ex-beatle, for that matter. (That and that tomorrow will be Puzzle Quest Gallactrix's release, so it may take on all the spotlight) Here's the link to Project RINGO
UPDATE: This banner hints at something else: The number 247. July 24th? 24h, 7d?
N+ moderators Khadgar and myself were lucky enough to receive two Nintendo DSi's with the Opera web browser preinstalled a few weeks back, and we've been putting them through some rigorous testing (literally - I dropped mine twice, and I never drop anything, so it must have been for science).
Over the next few weeks, we'll be posting daily on the DSi. We're going to cover EVERYTHING because it seems like no other blog did. Exclusive to N+ will be our unique coverage of the new DS Browser - because our DSi's (even though they are Japanese language versions) were sent to the sexy folks in Norway where they downloaded it for us from DSware before shipping to N+. This new version has obvious updates like no need for additional RAM, it becomes a 'channel' on the DSi home screen, and since it's software based there is potential for updates, like the Wii browser has seen (and will get again).
What we'll need from you is comments and feedback on what you want to see, so we get you the most interesting info. DSi compared to DS lite, in every way. New DS browser compared to Old DS browser, in every way. DSi compared to G.I. Joes, in every way. New DSi Browser compared to Opera Mini, iPhone, iPod touch, GBA, GameBoy Player, a cat named Skoo, etc., in every way.
So give us some work to do in the comments, tell us what you want to see, while we compile our data from the past weeks and we'll give you guys and girls something to read daily on the upcoming European and North American Nintendo DSi.
Also, follow @NPlus on twitter for kicky fast notifications of new posts or subscribe to our new N+ RSS Feed so we can get some stats to work with to better serve the community.
Check out this new trailer for Deep Silver's Cursed Mountain, courtesy of Official Nintendo Magazine. Personally, I really like the visuals of the game and can't wait for it to come out. Yeah, I know, I criticized Winter for looking like a slowed-down version of Fatal Frame, and well, Cursed Mountain looks even more like a copy of Fatal Frame without the camera and with colder settings... but what the heck, there's something about this game that does appeal to me.
Check the link to watch the trailer, since ONM videos can't be embedded here .
