Table Tennis for Wii

, , , ...

Take2's Press Release confirms that not only Bully, but Table Tennis will also make it's jump to Wii. Sure, this is just another one of the millions of ports that get thrown to the Wii, but it should be a perfect port right? I mean WiiSports tennis was fantastic and the Miis moved for you. I can't wait to get my hands on this port, somthing I very rarely want. Here is some release info for the press:

Rockstar Games is proud to announce that Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis will be making its way to the Wii™ home video game system from Nintendo this Fall.

Developed by Rockstar Leeds in collaboration with Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis is the perfect Wii gaming experience. Feel the unmatched speed and intensity of the real-life sport with an authentic physics engine and intuitive gameplay that mimics the exhilarating experience found in international competition.

Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis made its debut in May 2006 on Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and was met with huge critical acclaim, winning Gamespot's "Best Sports Title" at E3 2006.

"Ever since we released Table Tennis, fans have been asking us to create a Wii version," said Sam Houser, Founder and Executive Producer of Rockstar Games. "By bringing Table Tennis to the Wii and utilizing the motion-sensitive Wii Remote™, a new audience can now experience a game that is beautifully designed and impossible to put down."

Addictive, fast-paced and above all fun, Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis is guaranteed to be the must have title for all Wii owners.

- How do you guys feel about this game? was it the awesome on 360? was it the lame? will it go from the lame to the awesome? or will it go from the awesome to the lame?

Nick + 2100

, , , ...

After seeing last night's post about his scores, Nick decided to up the ante a bit this afternoon. Or like 81.

Now in the "Skill Level" range this time, clearly off the chart. Nice.

Nick, you need an Opera page. This is the 3rd news story about you and the only thing I have to link back to is this, sadly.

UPDATE + Until Nick makes a my.opera page, his tag icon will be as it is above, a constant reminder.

This and more Mii images here.

My long time friend Nick (unfortunate previous reference) ended up getting Wii as a late Christmas gift due to demand/shortages from his awesome wife Holly. I had them over in late November and they fell in love with Wii Sports. Despite Nick literally owning every game system in history through the years that I've know him, Holly was actually more enthusiastic about getting Wii for their home.

She called me for weekly updates on my search to find one for Nick in time for Christmas, but we simply couldn't get one. Since he found one on his own, Nick's been playing Wii Sports on his lunch breaks over the past few weeks to catch up to my 6 week lead. He called me today with some awesome news:

Nick: Nothing happens when you break 2000 in Tennis.

Me: How do you know?

Nick: I'm 2024.

Me: WHUAA?! Dude can you send me pics?

He played a few more rounds and just sent these to my phone:

And here showing his skill literally off the chart:

Nick, you are awesome. He also said that he is approaching 2000 in Bowling as well. As many know, you get a [spoiler alert!] special Bowling Ball at Pro level (1000 Points). As far as Tennis goes, Nick says he's been playing the same two people now, at 1900 and 2000 Skill level respectively. How is everyone else doing?
Sorry for the watermarks, but there are a few uncool blogs out there that have already stolen a lot of our images. I stored these here.
