This week's Tokyo Game Show has been great for fans of the Okami franchise (it's a franchise now!). Capcom has released a brand new, adorable, trailer (above) for Okamiden, the DS sequel to Okami, while a couple of media outlets have posted off-screen footage of the game in action (available after the break).
Capcom has also launched the official Japanese website for Okamiden, featuring artwork, screenshots, and video.
We at N+, like everyone else with brains, absolutely loved the original Okami, and can't wait for the sequel, so we'll be sure to keep you updated with any news we hear!
It's no secret that Nintendo generally holds media summits and press briefings in early October. It's also no secret that a new Zelda title is in the works, and the only bit of information we have to go on is a piece of art released at this year's E3 conference. Put two and two together, and what do you get? A Zelda trailer at the October conference!
It may sound like wishful thinking, but Infendo is claiming that an "inside source" has told them the trailer will indeed debut in October, and will shed some light on the mystery of why Link didn't have a sword in the released art.
IGN has the exclusive first trailer for the upcoming Metroid Prime Trilogy. Due out on August 24, this collection contains all three games, a metal tin, and an art book for only $50, with some retailers offering extra goodies like posters and t-shirts. Is it sad that my most anticipated game of the year is a collection of games I've already played?
Early last week, several game journalists received a (slightly) creepy e-mail pamphlet advertising "Bright Dawn Treatment Center", some sort of rehab program offering new forms of shock therapy. Many of them passed it off as junk mail, but when several game journalists received the exact same e-mail, it became clear that it was not.
Mystery no more, we're now aware that Bright Dawn Treatment Center is the setting for Renegade Kid's Dementium II, as seen in the trailer above. I really loved Moon, and never played Dementium, so I'm looking forward to trying out the sequel.
IGN says that Xseed Games is going to publish the estimated "30-hour long" Wii RPG title " Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon" in North America! If you are an RPG fan, and don't like wasting your money on short games, then stay interested in this one ok?
The release date is still up in the air, though "Winter 2009" is the goal. We're currently unsure of what the ESRB will rate the game, which was developed by tri-Crescendo. Publishers and localizers are trying to keep a Japanese voice option in-effect for those who want to switch off the English voice-overs. An attempt is being made to get tri-Crescendo to add additional content for North America.
"Fragile follows the adventures of a young boy named Seto who may or may not be the last human being alive. As the lonely character searches the foggy, light-abandoned world for survivors, armed with a flashlight, he stumbles across a mysterious girl named Ren and becomes infatuated with her. Unfortunately, the two become separated and Seto embarks on a quest to find Ren again. Along the way, the hero must fight off ghosts and demons that haunt the landscapes, explore dark and seemingly empty ruins, and put together the pieces of a puzzle that will ultimately reveal the downfall of mankind. - Xseed"
Sega and High Voltage Software held an event tonight to show off the multiplayer modes in The Conduit to select media outlets (no, we're not there...). IGN just posted a "Multiplayer Trailer", which you can see below. Multiplayer screenshots can be found here.
I haven't even watched the trailer yet - I saw it posted on IGN and rushed to post it here for you guys. I'm off to watch it now...
EDIT: IGN's embed code apparently isn't working, but you can check out the trailer directly at IGN.
The Action-RPG DS game that is already being played by millions of Japanese natives (or Japanese reading importers), is at least scheduled to have an English launch, but it looks like all we have is a year window to play with. Anyway, if you want to see the preview, dig this:
Suda51 talks about No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle. His jobs, the reason for the sub-title name, Travis' beam katana that I KNEW was the one from the last game even though everyone said it was a new one, and the possibility of Motion+
Well my main complaint i have with Opera Mini 4.5 5.0 & Opera Mobile on my E51 smartphone its not accessing the prective text funtion of my phone while there are other 3rd party apps there where it uses the good ol Tegic T9
I+ is a group for those that are interested in, developing and curious about discussing independent media such as games, music, movies, literature, and everything else in between.
