Virtual ConsoleNINJA COMMANDO (NEOGEO, 1-2 players, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older-Mild Language, Fantasy Violence, 900 Wii Points):
NINJA COMMANDO is a vertically scrolling action game released by ADK in 1992. Players choose from among three ninjas-Joe, descended from the Koga ninja; Rayar, a woman who has learned the ways of the Iga ninja; and Ryu, descendant of the famous ninja Fuma Kotaro-as they pursue the merchant of death known as Spider, who plans to use a time machine to bring havoc to the world. The battle spans seven time periods, including the Stone Age, the Egyptian era and the Japanese Civil War era. Each hero features a variety of attack options in addition to their own normal attacks, including a deadly attack that inflicts damage upon all enemies on the screen, special ninja-arts attacks performed by inputting specific commands, and a powerful attack unleashed by taking on the "shape of the beast" when three scrolls have been collected. The game also supports two-player cooperative play, so you're welcome to bring a friend and enjoy taking on the evil Spider together.
Donkey Kong™ 3 (NES®, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points):Based on the third game in the enormously popular arcade series, Donkey Kong 3 introduces an exterminator named Stanley as he desperately tries to protect the flowers in his greenhouse from Donkey Kong. Armed only with a can of bug spray, Stanley must force Donkey Kong higher and higher into the greenhouse rafters until Donkey Kong is off the screen and the next stage is reached. Not surprisingly, Donkey Kong isn't going to move without a fight, so he sends wave after wave of bugs, bees and other creatures toward Stanley. Not only must Stanley repel the insects in order to save the flowers, but he'll also have to keep an eye out for projectiles thrown by Donkey Kong himself. If Stanley is good enough, he'll be able to grab a can of more powerful bug spray and really get Donkey Kong moving. It all adds up to frantic fun that anyone can enjoy.
WiiWareMajor League Eating: The Game™ (Mastiff, 1-2 players, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older-Crude Humor, 1000 Wii Points):The ultimate chomp-off is about to begin. Grab your Wii Remote™ controller and dig into 12 different foods as you compete against the greatest major-league eaters in the world. This isn't just a race to stuff your face-you'll need strategy to master a smorgasbord of digestive attacks, defenses and counters. These include the Mega Burp, Gas Attack, Antacid and more. And don't forget to keep an eye on your Barf-O-Meter, because if the food hits the plate twice, you're out. Unlock more than 10 characters in single-player career mode, go gut-to-gut against your friends in versus mode, or compete online using Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection. Online play supports friend codes, random matchmaking and leader boards.

This is just a final reminder that this weekend is your last forseeable chance to get that legitimate Deoxys you always wanted! Deoxys arrives from space in a Cherish Ball holding Never Melt Ice. He will arrive in any one of his forms, I got neutral when i recieved the mystery gift
last weekend. But don't worry, if you like any of his other forms you can change them in the game by taking him to Veilstone City and interacting with the meteorites in the east part of town.
To get Deoxys got to any local U.S. Gamestop with your DS and Diamond and/or Pearl. Make sure you have the National Dex. When you go into the Gamestop turn the DS on, and at the menu screen before you load your save file there should be "Mystery Gift" even if you never unlocked this, it automatically shows up

. Then select "Via Wireless" and your gift from space should download into your game! After you load up your game deposit one of your six pokemon in a computer (if you are full up), and then go to the nearest shop where you can talk to a delivery man who gives you Deoxys, then save!

FINALY another shot at catching the legendary Deoxys! and this time we DON'T have to visit Space Center in Texas, USA to get him! This is the ONLY "event only" pokemon I am missing! ALL others I have recieved MYSELF with the events, and didn't have to trade over the GTC or to "some kid" who had him, who might have or might have not cheated. AWESOME! OH! You probably want to know how to score one too huh? Hehehe, ok!
Visit your local
Gamestop on
June 20-22 and 27-29 to recieve a legitimate Deoxys. It is unclear if you need the National Dex or not, or If you needed to beat the Elite 4 or not. I recommend beating the Elite 4, getting the National Dex, have only 5 pokemon on your team, and save just outside of a Pokemart.
You will need: A Nintendo DS Prototype (Phat) or DS Lite, and a copy of Diamond and/or Pearl.
N+ UPDATE: Jayvee
found out that this is a US only event, and that he is downloadable like the Darkrai event.
-Everyone thank member Jayvee for sharing his find!--via kotaku

In the USA the only way we can get a Metallic Rose colored DS is to buy one with a paw-print on it in the Nintendog Bundle, or to import one. But soon, soon like JUNE soon, Nintendo will begin shipping the color without the dogs, or their paw-prints all over it! Hopefully this means that at some point they bring the Platinum color DS to the states, but *sigh* if they do that I would have to own TWO ds lites at once... I really like my black one, but the silver is pretty killer too. Man Nintendo sells a billion DS' because I buy half a billion by myelf anyway, it's an addiction I tell you!

GameStop has been estimating this figure since Wii Fit was announced, but Nintendo has just confirmed the price for Wii Fit in North America: $89.99 I have to give this a big 'meh'. I mean, sure it's under $100 as promised, but I was really hoping for that $70 or $80 price point.
Nintendo also announced that the first 1,000 customers to pre-order Wii Fit at Nintendo World Store in NYC will receive some nice Wii Fit goodies! Get to pre-ordering, New Yorkers!

Two games this week:
Fantasy Zone (Sega Master System, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points):

Take command of the spaceship Opa-Opa and blast your way through various fantastical levels as you try to take out all the enemy bases in each stage. Once you've destroyed the bases, you'll have to beat the stage boss in order to move on to the next level. By using your guns and bombs wisely, you'll be able to take down your enemies and explore each of the crazy environments in this side-scroller. You can also buy upgraded weapons for your ship by accessing the shop. Various Sega games through the years have referenced the Opa-Opa-now you can play the game that started it all.
Mega Turrican (Sega Genesis, 1 player, Rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older-Fantasy Violence, 800 Wii Points):

Aren't we supposed to be getting three games a week? Meh, I suppose I'm not too angry, but I will be when we don't get Super Mario Kart this month...
Yoshi's Cookie™ (NES®, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points):
Take one part puzzle game, combine with intuitive game play, add a pinch of multiplayer action and top with a layer of everyone's favorite dinosaur. Mix together and let set for roughly 100 stages' worth of time. If that sounds like a winning recipe to you, then step into the kitchen and get ready for a batch of fast-paced puzzle action. Hunker down to move rows and columns of randomly placed cookies in an effort to align all the cookies of the same type. Successfully assemble a row or column to make the line disappear, then move to a new one. If you're good enough, you may even be able to make a Yoshi cookie appear! Feel like taking on a friend? Fire up the two-player mode, where you can attack your opponent while competing to match as many cookies as possible. Be careful, though—if your timing is off, you could end up attacking yourself. Who knew dinosaurs had such a weakness for puzzle games and sweets?
Bases Loaded (NES®, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points):
Bases Loaded is a baseball game with an arcade feel and plenty of options from which players can choose. Select one of 12 teams, set your lineup from the 30 players available (each with different strengths), then play a single game or try to win the pennant. During game play, the screen shows two different viewpoints: one from behind home plate as you're batting, and the other from the pitching mound in a television-style shot (unique for its time) as your team plays in the field. Strong play control and excellent graphics add to the excitement as you decide what pitch to throw (you can even try to provoke the opposing batter into charging the mound), control all positions on the field, or do your best to get a hit. So step to the plate and find out why this is one of the most popular baseball games on the NES. Can you pull through in the clutch?

... And so is Tingle! We thought it would be an excellent way to begin spring with flowers and sunshine and rupees and Tingle!
Freshly Picked: Tingles Rosey Rupee Land is a DS game that came out in Japan, then Europe. That was it, and thats as far as it's going!
Tingles Wikipedia Page!
Except! HAHA! The American Captain Seagull and the European Seaempty have planned a super sweet game trade! Seaempty has shipped reshly Picked: Tingles Rosey Rupee Land to Seagull, and in return the Seagull is shipping the has-yet-to-get-a-European-release-date
Professor Layton and the Curious Village to Seaempty!
I was thinking, should N+ try to set some kind of area up for you guys to do the same thing? you all know that DS games are region free right?! - anyway if we set this thing up we DEFINITELY need to have rules, and we really really need you guys to follow them! for instance some things that would HAVE to be followed:
- Parents know what games you are trading away AND getting in return (and ratings!)
- Parents MUST ok the exchange of addresses
- These MUST be done with PRIVATE MESSAGES - NO POSTING ADDRESSES IN FORUMS. They will be removed.
Those MUST be followed, we don't want anyone getting in big trouble, including ourselves (N+)! But I think we could set up an official forum where you post what game you would like from what region, and what games you would be willing to trade for it! then you can contact that person via Private Message.
What do you guys think? should N+ get its butt in gear and try to find the perfect solution to make this happen?

Woah, woah, woah, woah! What's this? A new console added to the VC? This was a bit out of the blue, wasn't it? Or have I completely missed this? You can now get Master System games?!?!?!
Wonder Boy (Sega Master System, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone—Comic Mischief, 500 Wii Points):
As Tom-Tom the Wonder Boy, it's up to you to rescue your girlfriend Tanya from the vile clutches of the monster that has kidnapped her. To do so, you must navigate a series of worlds in a race against time to reach your goal. Along the way, you'll battle foes and collect fruit that will add to the amount of time you have to complete your mission. You can also receive helpful power-ups from various eggs, but make sure to avoid the bad eggs and poisonous mushrooms that sap your precious vitality. Find the magic doll in each level to open up hidden areas, and make it to the very end of your journey to rescue your one true love.
Cruis'n USA™ (Nintendo 64®, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 1,000 Wii Points):
Ever felt like driving to the Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Rushmore and the White House in one day? Well then, gear up to put your racing skills to the test in a frantic trip across the United States, following a route that you won't find on any map. Whether it's the rolling hills of Appalachia, the flowing cornfields of Iowa or the crowded tunnels below Chicago, you'll find yourself too focused on the intense racing action to worry about the scenery. Get started by picking from a garage full of cars to find the one that best suits your style—if you're good enough, you'll even find a few hidden ones to round out your selection. Then choose one of three different playing perspectives and get ready to hang on tight. With five difficulty levels, the ability to remove traffic or other racers, and two- player simultaneous racing, it's enough to make you forget all about finding that next rest stop. Just watch out for the cows, OK?

Apparently there's an eerie theme to today's NAVC update. You've got one game about exploring caves, and another about battling sinister space beings (and has possibly the worst pun ever in the game information).
Spelunker™ (NES®, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone, 500 Wii Points):
Wander through miles of uncharted caves in search of the legendary underground pyramid and its vast treasures. To complete your adventure, you will swing from ropes and ladders, run across unstable terrain and down ravines, operate elevators, mining carts and rafts. You will collect keys, bombs, flares, jewels, sacks of gold coins and other valuable items as you navigate the hazardous terrain. But beware of the scalding steam vents, poisonous bats and the avenging spirits of dead spelunkers that lurk in every corner of this massive underground labyrinth.
SUPER R-TYPE® (Super NES®, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone — Mild Fantasy Violence, 800 Wii Points):
A galactic battle begins. The BYDO Empire of mutant extraterrestrials is back with evil intent and awesome power. Now the evil empire is poised to launch a new attack on Earth. Only the revolutionary R-9, the planet's most advanced form of defense, stands between these monsters and doom. Fight through seven challenging stages—picking up power-up items as you progress—on the way to each stage's memorable boss. Is the BYDO Empire invincible? You'll need lightning reflexes, intuitive moves and a big dose of cosmic luck to hold your own. Better prepare yourself, because the mutants "R" ready for you.

No Super Smash for you today on the VC, but you do get 2 Japan imports that might interest you. Y'know, if you're not glued to Brawl.

DoReMi Fantasy: Milon's DokiDoki Adventure (Super NES®, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone – Alcohol Reference and Comic Mischief, 900 Wii Points):
This is an action game where an energetic boy named Milon sets off on a great adventure in a cute fairy-tale world. Piccolo is a village in the country of Fantasia. One day, they hear from the fairy Alis that songs and music have disappeared from the forest. Suddenly, the wizard Amon appears, grabs Alis and vanishes with her. The brave Milon must now go on a journey to rescue his kidnapped friend, with his bubble shooter as his only weapon. Along the way, he'll need to retrieve five legendary instruments and stars by defeating Amon's minions. Get ready to enjoy the fun and comical action of this charming game.
Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu (Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone, 900 Wii Points):
The object of this head-to-head puzzle game is to clear your grid of falling patterns called puyos by forming chains of four or more same-colored puyos in a straight line or one of several geometric patterns. What makes this a challenging two-player contest is the fact that when you clear a chain of puyos from your grid, it drops a random piece of filler onto your opponent's grid. The more puyos you clear, the more you fill your opponent's grid, and if you can clutter up his grid enough to fill it to the top, you've won the game. An intriguing backstory makes this an amusing experience for one or two players.

Bad news: only two games again this week
Good news: One of them has Kirby in it
Gotta love that pillow with a face.
NEW+ Kirby 64™: The Crystal Shards: (Nintendo 64®, 1-4 players, Rated E for Everyone, 1,000 Wii Points):

Kirby's first 3-D adventure is also his Nintendo 64 debut, and it finds the always-versatile hero battling a new enemy called Dark Matter. Dark Matter is after a distant land's powerful crystal, but a young fairy named Ribbon attempts to save it by escaping with the gem to Dream Land. Now the crystal has been broken, and it's scattered around the world. Take control of Kirby and help him journey across six worlds, battling a wide variety of enemies and challenging bosses, as he tries to collect all 100 pieces of the shattered crystal. Along the way, you'll use Kirby's trademark copying ability to use enemies' strengths against them. Not only that, but try combining any two abilities to create a brand-new one that is usually stronger than the original. Throw in three exciting multiplayer minigames, and you've got a package of which even King Dedede would be proud. Fans of Kirby and action games with bright, colorful graphics should vacuum this one up.
NEW+ Psychosis: (TurboGrafx16, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone – Mild Fantasy Violence, 600 Wii Points):
This is a side-scrolling shooter played in a world created from the mind of a twisted demon. Your soul has suddenly wandered into that evil world that exists in every person's heart. The only way out is to blast your way past the grotesque creatures that block your path in five "causes" (stages). You must face the dangers of this psychedelic world by making full use of three shot types and the satellite option. With power-ups, you can change your shots to a wide-coverage beam, a satellite-generated laser and more. Each shot type can be powered up to three levels. You can also block enemy fire by rotating the satellites to a desired position. How you use these features will be the key to successfully escaping this strange and surreal world.
