Rumor: multiple tablet controllers on Wii U

, ,

The Examiner said "Matt Ryan from Nintendo of Canada" said that the Wii U can actually use more than one tablet style controller, and only comes packaged with one tablet controller, I'm keeping this as rumor for now, at least until Iwata, Reggie, or Miyamoto say something or game-utilizing proof shows up. But for now read what Canadian Matt says:

"Let me correct something that is a misconception, We said that the Wii U system will come with one Wii U controller, but we haven't said that you can only use one Wii U controller. The fact is that if the developer makes a game or an experience that uses more than one, then anything is possible."

"What we've also talked about is to imagine taking some of the experiences you've had at your own home, putting them on your Wii U controller, and taking that with you somewhere else. That would again get rid of that myth and misconception that only one can be used. So, the possibility is there, but the system will only come with one at this point."

Multiple Wii U Controllers limited by price?

,

Iwata addresses why, at least for now, the Wii U will only support one Wii U controller at a time, and he really makes a point to reject technical limitations and get to the monies...

"Regardless of the technical question as to whether or not we could do that (use two of the new controllers), for the time being, we will focus on what we can do with a single new controller with the system.

"In the future, we may look at what other opportunities there are for gameplay and, how having two of those controllers might create fun or interesting new styles of play, but of course in doing that, it would require a consumer to purchase an additional controller. Therefore, we would need to carefully consider how we could create such an experience and, potentially, how we could ensure that there would be enough value within that experience for the consumer to accept that cost and make that purchase."

Also keep in mind that E3, Miyamoto was quoted as saying that they are...

"doing research about if someone brings their controller to their friend's house and they want to play together on Wii U to whether or not something like that would be possible."

NMH3: Suda Brainstorming?

, , ,

Weird, really weird. Twittering on Twitter today I noticed that Grasshopper Manufactures official account let out a strange Tweet:

Everyone is super excited bout #NMH3, but it's just an idea rattling
around his crazy head for now. Tweeting @suda_51 might shake it
out.

Looks like Grasshopper is trying to get Suda bugged enough to make a NMH3 for Wii U! So everyone who has a twitter account let one out about how much you want it to be real with "@suda_51" attatched to it! It looks like they are saying it's already something he is thinking about.

Also, there is an online petition which I have already signed, and you should too:
