Nintendo 3DS Preview and Launch Event at GameStop

Whether you're anticipating the arrival of Nintendo's latest handheld or not, you may take interest in GameStop's launch promotion. This includes a preview event being held in the stores and a contest to win a 3DS and one of 310 GameStop gift cards.

GameStop's Nintendo 3DS page has an extensive collection of resources regarding the 3DS, including promotional information specific to it's own franchise. You can get the latest pricing information, and can even see if your store is participating in a midnight launch.

One thing to keep an eye on is the preview event (pictured above); during the demonstration period (through April 11th) GameStop will award the following prizes to lucky participants:

Grand Prize (60 winners)

  • Nintendo 3DS System
  • 3DS Carrying Case
  • $500 GameStop Gift Card

First Prize (250 winners)

  • $60 GameStop Gift Card
