Project NeedleMouse Roster To Be Revealed On Friday

, , ,

Sonic fans, I'm sure you've heard of Project Needlemouse: a return-to-basics, speedy, 2D, new Sonic adventure coming to any console near you. Well, Sega has begun a countdown to reveal its final roster this Friday.

And not only that, they've also set up a sort of rally with old-school Sonic challenges in order to get fans involved (if any of the fans are still fans after the past Sonic games). The challenges look easy but somewhat... let's say laborious. So, if you really are a fan of Sonic, then you'll probably enjoy it. Just go to Sega's blog for the game. The site claims that, should you complete the challenges by next Friday (January 15th), you'll get something special.

Yeah, I feel the same way... Sonic, unfortunately, could not make the transition to 3D as successfully as Mario... 3D Sonic games, to may taste, are really not that good (entertaining, yeah... but not as great as the 2D ones). Let's hope (once more) they get it right again. Too bad it has to be in 2D, though...
