ShoppingPenguin's Cheep Cheep Wins All!

They look like just your regular fare of vegetables and fruit, but to shoppingpenguin, these were ingredients to an amazing Nintentreat! Always looking out for the underdog, shoppingpenguin decided to make a beloved Cheep Cheep by using tomatoes, a pepper, an apple, and some yogurt as materials. She details everything in her blog post here.
And, as we all know, the result was this fabulous, edible Cheep Cheep!
I decided to ask shoppingpenguin a few questions about her entry, if she eats junk food (because her entry is unusually healthy!), and if she has a favorite game that features the Cheep Cheep.
I do eat junk food! I actually did the first nintentreat that came to my mind that met my criteria. I didn't want to do a cake because years of Nintendo receiving Nintendo Power Magazine has taught me that everyone does cakes. I want to do something that would allow me to accurately portray a Nintendo character in more than two dimensions without a great drawing or sculpting ability. I also wanted to do a Nintendo character who was a lesser sung hero. Uniqueness was definitely a priority for me in this creation. When I thought of cheep cheeps I was thinking what foods looked like cheep cheeps and the tomato came first to my mind. Then I worked from there to figure out what would make a tomato look even more cheep cheep-like. ^v^ I have always liked cheep cheeps, but equal to how much I like other lesser known Nintendo characters. My favorite cheep cheep game is Super Mario World for the SNES because that the first video game my mother bought me. I do think it is awesome the way cheep cheeps are included in the Mario Kart series, too though!

I would like to thank Beeks for holding the contest (Great idea Beeks!), Nintendo for being awesome, Khadgar, JKing, G-Off, and everyone at the N+ for their support... Thank you everyone who supported this contest other entrants, and voters (even those who didn't vote for me). I hope we can have another contest like this (with more entries) again soon!
I would like to extend an honoroble mention to both Captain Seagull and heirSmitty for also submitting entries! They are very tasty looking and can be viewed in the Cooking Mama Photo Album! Thanks again for everyone who participated and supported the Cooking Mama Challenge!
