Take to the waves on your own personal watercraft and experience some of the best water effects in video game history. Choose one of four characters, each with his/her own unique abilities and style, and master the game's excellent controls. Make your way through nine courses, each with its own challenges. If the ramps, mines and hairpin turns aren't enough, you'll also have to deal with varying weather conditions that can make the water choppy or cover the course with fog. And if you ever feel like taking a break from racing, then try out Stunt Mode to polish your skills by pulling off handstands, rolls and more. Get good enough and you might even be able to ride a dolphin-just don't get seasick.

This was the first game in the Eggerland puzzle series to be released in North America. After the love of his life, Lala, is kidnapped by the Great Devil and taken to a haunted castle, our hero Lolo sets out to rescue her. But Lolo has a few tricks up his sleeve, including a Magic Shot that turns enemies into eggs and an Emerald Framer that shields him from attacks. Combining clever environmental puzzles with tricky enemies and an engaging style, ADVENTURES OF LOLO is a true classic.

This is an updated version of the classic arcade shooter Galaga. Set in the vast reaches of space, you will fight your way through all 29 rounds to reach the enemies' stronghold on Planet Galaga. Game levels consist of a few rounds with changing enemies and backgrounds. To top it off, the nostalgic "Galactic Dancing" lives on to mark the end of each level. With the new addition of dimensions, you can choose your attack route. Collect capsules and open dimension warps at branch sections to take on even tougher enemies. GALAGA '90's inclusion of the triple fighter, scrolling backgrounds, boss Galaga and even new system effects make it nothing less than a masterpiece.
Seriously... Europe got it two weeks ago. Where is Metroid!? I guess they're saving it for closer to the US release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

i imagine the new advertisements in wave race were as simple as replacing certain bitmap textures and calling it a day.
this could turn out to be a test, and future creative revenue source for nintendo.
i'm really looking forward to the creative possibilities

Using the emulator to "trick" the game that there is a second controller plugged in works perfectly on PC Emulators... but this is a console emulator. It doesn't nearly have anything close to the amount of resources a computer has, plus, in order to have the system "tricked" into local two player over the internet would need a LOT of communication between both users: Starting up the game at the same time, making sure everything is in sync, controlling the settings for the matches, to even choosing what level you want to play.
I'm not saying it's not possible, just improbable. If Nintendo were to implement it, they'd have to make hyper-friend codes with your friend's IP address and everything in it, edit the hell out of the emulator to allow for some sort of communication, create match making software that interrupts the rom itself so you'd have enough time to connect with your friend... well, Nintendo would have to do a lot more than tricking the rom.
PC Emulators have been doing it for years, but people have been spending all this time with emulators turning console games into PC games, so the emulator has access to PC functions. The Wii is turning Console games into Console games.
As for the XBLA, ever wonder why it takes so long for the older games (that have online multiplayer) to come out? They have to reprogram a lot of the game so it's compatible with the XBOX, the internet connection, add server software, add achievements... Even then, a LOT of the older games with added online multiplayer are quite dodgy. Street Fighter II is lag city for me, yet Bomberman Live is a dream. One is an old game, the other one is not.
And I wish the Wii had Achievement points. Something to make me feel better about unlocking everything in Wario Ware.
