Zelda Wins At GDC

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is a fantastic game. That pesky Temple of the Ocean King stopped it being a great game for me, but that still didn't stop it winning the "Best Handheld Game" Game Developers Choice Award at the 2008 Game Developers Conference.

It wasn't all good, however, as Ninty missed out on the Best Game of the Year and Best Game Design, both for Super Mario Galaxy.

Well, to be fair, it did get Best Game of the Year from Gamespot... and I'm not sure but I think it also did from a couple of other magazines... And yeah, I liked Phantom Hourglass a lot, and did get a little bit frustrated on that temple... but still, the game was awsome... especially long for a handheld game (which is really appreciated... :wink: )

How did Galaxy not win Game of the Year?! Or at least Best Game Design?! What game did win? If it was something stupid like Bioshock, I'm calling it a conspiracy by Microsoft. Spook, Galaxy did win game of the year on ign.com, too. I don't know about any other magazines, though.
