Wii On The Go

Remco pointed me in the direction of this handy gadget, that makes you Wii extremely portable!

The 7" LCD screen fits over the ports on the back of the Wii, and it can be powered by a car cigarette lighter. Although I wouldn't recommend Wii-ing while driving, it could certainly make car journeys more enjoyable for the passengers.

Oh man. That would be kicky sweet for MKWii.

At first I thought "oh no it's just some geek's mod and I'll never have one" but then its a shop! It has a price! Hurrah!

The idea is great! But just think about it... how much room do you REALLY have in a car's backseat? Pointing the Wii Remote and making necessary movements in an enclosed space is probably not going to be much fun (if you break things and hit people while boxing in your living room, imagine what you would do to a car and its driver! Knocking the driver out would DEFINITIVELY NOT be much fun...)
Perfect for when you DON'T have a TV though... or you're in one of those pesky hotels that won't let you access the AV ports on your room's TV...

PS: Does this neat gadget ALSO power the Wii? I guess it does...but it's not specifically mentioned in the site...

I've got one for my GameCube. Made a Cruise around the Mediterranean much more bearable.

But now I don't have a GameCube any more, so it lies unused under my bed.

lol itt wouldnt be to great at the interactive games really lol imagine trying to do bowiling in it lol difficult unless you get a stretch limmo ! lol but health and safety wouldnt allow you to stand up in ther lol oh well this is still pretty cool ! P:

It would still be wicked sick for MKWii, Mario Strikers, LoZ:TP and Brawl. You know, the good games.

... I just realised this means I could move the Wii to my room at will... meaning I could play Wii-Fi games basically hassle-free...

I can't wait until I have enough money that I won't feel bad for buying this, because I'm so buying this.

Am I the -only- one that's bothered by the fact that the promo image uses art from Mario Party DS?

Makes sense when your accessory looks like a DS upper screen, I guess...
Still, I can't picture myself using Wii Remotes PROPERLY in a car... And for that money...maybe get a DS?
