Sonic Dark Brotherhood Teaser

, , , , , , ,

Not too much in the realm of video game news these last few days eh Nplussers? Anyway, I DID find a video of Sonic: The Dark Brotherhood to get you guys a little more excited. When you actually see the gameplay it reminds me more of Sonic 3D blast. Hopefully we don't have to collect the damn Flickies this time!

Sonic died in 2005. This is just beating a dead horse.

RIP Sonic. You will be missed. :frown:

Sonic's long and slow death started in 1999, when Sonic was Adventure for the Dreamcast came, after that, the second game Sonic Adventures 2 was good, but after that the rest weren't that great..

Well to be honest this came can't be totally bad.
BioWare can make even the worst crap into gold.

Can't watch the vid at work :frown: And I know I'm going against the flow here, but I really did enjoy Sonic and The Secret Rings! I even enjoyed (not so much as Secret Rings) the one that came out for the XBox... The one I REALLY hated and had to put down after 20 minutes of gameplay was Sonic Rush 2 (the one at sea).
And please pardon my ignorance, but is this Sonic Dark Brotherhood part of "Sonic Unleashed" or is it a different game?

UPDATE: OK, Now I know Dark Brotherhood is for the DS and Unleashed is for 'big' consoles... :D

Sonic Rush ruled. Sonic Rush Adventure (the one at sea) should not have forced you to unlock levels. Sonic and the Secret Rings was actually pretty good after you get a few upgrades (but why do you have to work to unlock good controls?).

At any rate, Sonic RPG looks freakin' awesome. You can play as my all time favorite character of any video game: Big the Cat. While his gameplay in Sonic Adventure wasn't that great, the character himself is charming and refreshing. For a game built around BREAKNECK SPEED and ATTITUDE, having a slow, relaxed and blissfully ignorant character around helped give the game contrast.
