Wii Update [update +1]

, , , , ,

So about a month and a half ago I had the idea that the 6kb of internal memory in the Wii Remote was for some sort of personalization of the remote itself.

It turns out I was right.

A recent article in N Gamer magazine just confirmed this, along with news of a slightly smaller sensor bar, that downloaded games would be on your SD card, but only work on your system (so others will have to get thier own games), and that Spore will be on both DS and Wii with seamless gameplay between each, allowing users to edit "on the fly."

edit: Due to lag I had not seen this blog post prior to one I wrote on the same subject. However 2 additional things were left out that I will post here.

And if you haven't seen this video yet, it's for HEROES, a Wii game by Grasshopper (Killer 7) and Suda 51. Espen, new Opera Community Moderator, was checkin out so Wii footage and sent it my way. It's not the newest video out there, but since it was never posted here, I decided to throw it in the Wii Update.

That game looks awesome - I want it. I love the style of it. BFGs and everything!

also viewers must keep in mind the voice acting is purposely 'bad.' As the dialogue, annunciation, and attitude is a style very popular with hype/fight anime that this is modeled after. SO it's actually to be refered to as 'dead on accurate.'
